32 square feet and 1400 watts of newb

So.... it was suggested that I start a grow journal of my first attempt at growing some medicine.

Here it is ! I am a total amateur. No idea what I am doing. I grew a sunflower once.

I started with a 4x4 tent a and 400 mh open vented hood.

That Picture was nine days after sprouting and then transplanted into a 7 gallon air pot

The first batch were all sweet jacky by jahseeds.

Then I ran into cal mag and ph issues. Cause I am green as hell and have no idea what I am doing^^^ I

then thought they may die because I have anxiety like that, so I found the exact same tent and bought a 1000 Vivosun vented and a 6 inch fan and air filter. And started another 8 GODISS from jahseeds as well. They turned out to be 6 out of 7 female so that was much better.

And I also switched to straight promix hp and filtered water instead of reverse osmosis.
So now I have one sweet jacki and 6 godiss

I feed every 4th night now at 6.3 ph

And today’s shots ! Nice big flowers starting. Smells really nice ! Having some stagnant air issues underneath but that Ian because it is in a garage and it has been -27 here for the last two weeks straight.

The picture with the scrog net is the 1000hps vented in a 4x4 with 4 plants.

The picture without the net is a 400hps open hood.

The 400 seems to be keeping up quite well. They aren’t stretching as much but man they are getting dense. I have to keep my garage heater at 68 degrees to maintain a “ on light” temperature of 78-82 f.

I am pretty sure I am going to build a sealed and externally vented room instead of these grow tents but I am not sure if it is worth it or not.
