Well Id rather drink a nice glass of bordeaux over a glass of yellow tail. There is a difference in quality and that might cost you a little more
What you posted in the picture that seems like simple topping to me?No I'm not. I mean I was sort of joking but really I'm dead serious.
So how is topping way differant they are both the same idea. All that is done in fimming is cutting 80-90% of the lead growth shoot. What I think u r referring to is pinching the lead growth, topping is way different.
my soil produces top shelf buds but I'm always into learning how to take it to the next level as you see in my reply to whodat. I've have been constantly debating in my head going completely organic I've just been to scared to change techniques haha.ok man 2 things First Whodat is completely right with regards to the super soil. You have mentioned many times in this thread that you are very concerned with quality, yet then you said that your soil is good enough. There is a reason that its called super soil, its better for your plants, and will help to achieve maximum yield and quality.
Now secondly I was talking about a soil growing technique with you, the air basket thing, and then you respond to me about using air stones in your water res. Thats great, but then when you water your plants the water is just chilling down in the root zone and the O2 gets used well before the next watering. This just makes that a constant supply of O2, which allows the plant to use the water more efficiently that is there.
If you fim do you still produce a Main cola?So how is topping way differant they are both the same idea.
topping = remove the whole lead growth
fimming = remove 80-90% of the lead growth
Im so confused about fimming hahah..If you do a FIM just right then you get basically what happens when you top twice. Most of the time you just top it though.
yeah im not going to do itJust close your eyes and pinch. I think it's dumb but I mean go for it. I'm really unclear how it is any different than topping you just do it WAY sooner...
Ok so what's on the agenda next?
Do you think adding one week of veg time to the NON lst'd clones would be positive or negative?More veg more yield.
no, these will be in 3 gallon pots. The ten lst'd will most like be in five gallon potsBut r u going to do the 18 in your 5 gallon pots?
Light coverage would be ok i got some big ass hoodiesI think a 2 gallon pot is just fine for a plant with about a week of veg. I'd be worried about light coverage, but u know your room better than me.
