Thanks for the pic with the bic, I was just thinking that those must be decently sized but it is so difficult to tell with no reference

Other than that, they're looking good! How long until you start flowering?

My PK clones have finally taken to soil (after dropping all their original fan leaves) so that is good. I expect to see new growth within a week or so. I had 4 very busy days and a couple of my main girls got burned somewhat badly, which is not good. I'm hoping they pull through, I don't want an early harvest! :-?

And that is what I want mine to look like at the end of this run.

He grew it outside in California and harvested around Nov I think.

Mines are strating to get purple stem and they are just in vegg!!! from the cold breeze i run my intake from my window and its about 45f outside up here!! If U want really purple buds especially for pure indicas add ice 2 weeks before flowering or a temp of 55f they will go purple crazy!!!! You may know this already though but I'm a purple fanatic they are beautiful plants!!!

Nice man. Ya I did know the temp trick and I may be able to pull it off this run due to the winter coming and night time temps getting down. I also have an AC in my room and it puts out air at about 65f at the plants but its a new addition and I wont know if I can bring out the Purp on the summer grows till next season.

In the summer prob if you add ice in addition with a a/c or maybe not all u reallty gotta do is get the roots to refuse nutrients which u prob know that too

K so I know I didnt say about the Screen but I wanted to get the pics up first.

I put the screen up today because they finally got far enough above the top of the AC vent. I wanted the screen to start above the vent so that the stem section will let cool air flow beneath the entire canopy.

Im about 2 and a half weeks flowering and boy are they getting sticky. I havent been touching them much and after handling them all to put down the screen I had sticky fingers.

Any Questions / Comments are more than welcome.

Purple buds definitely look cool, but I wouldn't want to deprive my plants of nutrients just for looks. Just my $.02

first off that process is not until the end of flowering which ur should be flushing ur plant anyhow the last 2weeks so it wont hurt at all unless u smoke chem buds....

u probably do lol

btw your plants are spose to turn yellow by that time so which would u want yellow leaves or purple ones for more appeal...

like i keep telling yall!!! cannabis is a deciduous tree if you dont know It is a fucking natural outdoor plant that has be domesticated duhhh

jus like apples and and such. cats and dogs too lol

OK so these are my observations. There are allot of plants and trees that's leafs turn to colors other than yellow during the fall season. Now I have grown quite a few crops of this Purple Kush and can assure you that if you don't have a temp drop they will still have purple in them. Not all of them and not all the leafs but the buds will have purple. That being said I have also observed the difference of having an AC vent blowing directly on just a few of the plants and those plants, while the others leafs turned yellow, developed deep purple leafs. Now if you go back to the pic Fdd2blk posted that plant was outdoors cali coats 40f at night and that bitch is vibrant. I dont think he had to put ice in his water, and ground temp is constant.

So take from this what you will, I hope its informative.

very tru but that was also outside too. lol in order for people to get a 40f temp in the house u may have to go to that extream right?
