The main reason i aint throwing this in some "dirt" is that i would have to buy about 40litres of it which is overkill for 1 plant.
Its the same if i wanted to grow in coco i would have to buy 40litres. I dont need this amount of medium so i just went with some little rockwool cubes.

I already know that i can grow a 20inch plant and still keep it in the rockwool 3x3 cube because i have the POG clone in a 3x3 cube and that is 20inches tall.

Hopefully when i trial run the cooltube (not in my grow room) it will prove that its going to work as i am expecting to be able to touch the glass of the cooltube without it burning.

A couple of the plants are showing a couple of burnt spots from the extreme heat they went through last night but i am sure they will bounce back. Have given the other 2 a flush today and also gave them all some PH6 plain water until i had 20% runoff.

I will update with pics on friday so you can see the difference the topping has made.

same dying for the weather here across the pond to go tits up,and it has. 3 weeks into flower so im keeping a close eye on everything

Hi Folks

Just thought i would let you know that i can see the taproot starting to come out of the DNA ROCKLOCK experiment.

I gently seperated the rockwool to check whether the seed had even cracked yet and it has.

So far the 12/12 experiment seems to be well underway. I am expecting around saturday sunday for the little lady to have her head above the rockwool and beginning to open.

Time will tell.

Just placed a new order with the ATTITUDE

Ordered a WHITE LABEL WHITE ICE FEMINIZED seed and got a DNA #1 Sour cream feminized free

Oh and i ordered another mug. he he he GOtta love them mugs

Jon, if I'm not mistaken, you topped at just over 3 weeks from breaking thru, correct? U think it was too early/late ?

I think its worked out quite good. the POG has around 15-20 colas (2 mains and alot of secondaries)

the SATIVA is just 2 big mains with a few secondaries here and there.

I will let you know come harvest time lol.

When i grow my mother PPP plant i will be trying various different methods with them until i find what it really likes.

Its really hard to judge when im not using the same strain for each plant.

I like the topping method its what i used when i first grew a plant.

I contemplating next time with clones trying LST on some FIM on others TOP on others NOTHING with some etc this way i can really see what each thing does to the same strain.
