4 strains, 400w + 600w closet medical grow

I have been cruising this wonderful site long enough, now its time to share. This grow is in the 2nd week of budding, and everything is going pretty well. the bigger plants are 2ft, the rest are 1ft. I have a 600w hps and a 400w hps in the closet. I had been using the 400 previously, so I chose to expand with a more efficient light.

I am using botanicare pure blend pro soil, and foxfarm soil. I have an ac hooked up to the closet, which has panda film instead of a door. temps are usually 80 during the day, so pretty steady... the only issue i've had lately is some leaf clawing w/ extra dark green leaves. only one plant really looks effected, so we'll see whats up. I believe it's nitrogen toxicity, i put in a little grow big to give them a boost, musta been unneeded. But otherwise, how are the buds looking for this timeframe? I know the information isn't all inclusive, but I just wanted to get some pics posted and will develope more w/ time.

wow man those are some full healthy looking plants, i gotta see how these turn out. whats the strain? oh and ya those girls look real good for 2 weeks of flowering

I am psyched to have 4 strains this time. those buds are from the bagseed (I got 100% female on 4 seeds) I got some purple kush, mendo purps, and shiva skunk! All different sizes too, but they'll be on risers in a week to even the canopy... thanks for stoppin by

actually i think im gunna pull up a chair for this one if you dont mind. how many full grows do you have under your belt? you are either gifted or have done this a few times

this is my first grow all to myself, but i have a slight experience with other people's plants. Honestly, I obssesively researched on RIU before I even got my card, and my boy hooked me up with the purple kush clone and a shit ton of knowledge. thanks for the comment, hope all goes well... more pics soon

I just upgraded to a 600W myself. So I have a 400 and a 600 now also, close to your setup. How have the temps been so far?

shitty until i got a super cheap window ac unit, and made a window in the panda film. temps are good, but I really want a sweet exhaust fan with a thermometer

nice, it usually does taste pretty good. i love when the bud looks like that too, its just pretty. i dont think i have ever smoked buds that were picked that soon though, you gotta let me know how it compares to the final product.

soooooooo I talked to my hydro shop homie, and he observed that they are a bit overfed, so I'm gonna back off a little on the nutes. He also hooked me up with some humic acid that he made himself, kinda cool.

lookin very nice, how tall are they now?

Measuring right now:
P. Kush = 12 inches of bushy bush (topped)
Bagseed (avg.) =24 inches, with canopy chillin’ at 18 inches avg.
Mendo Purps SOG = 21 inches (1 ft. of empty stalk, 9 inches of mango-scented bud!)
Shiva Skunk = 15 inches



Otherwise here’s the status report on day 26... Buds are beginning to swell and come together as a team, and I am seeing those sweet sticky trichomes forming nicely. The essential oils are crazy fruity on the Mendo Purps right now, can’t wait for my house to smell like a Starburst’s vagina! The purple kush is by far the most resinous, with a musty stank that gives me its own euphoria. I am pretty satisfied with the formation of the buds, and its almost time to LST (only done when needed now, they’ve been trained since birth, lol)… I’m still patiently waiting for the Shiva to go into hardcore mode, and I’m thinking that its pretty smell-less due to its NL #5 heritage/pappa… anyways, comments are welcome, constructive critisism is probably needed.

Great med grow! Looks alot like mine, I've got a 600 and a 400 as well. IM completely re-designing my grow room into a 4x4x6 self made tent room. +rep

i pretty much just backed off the regimen a little, so its chillin between 1/4 and 1/2 strength, the P. kush seems to be loving anything I throw at it, so I'm gonna push it a little harder... the clawed/cupped leaves are only still on one plant, but all the new growth/ leaves are fine so I'm not worried (pretty mild). I am having a few odd spots on some of the purps leaves that were directly in the path of the circulation fan (not oscillating). they are necrotic, but not going orange/brown, its just turning like grey. it's only a few small spots and ive moved the fan, but im gonna guess its just from too much cold airflow. neone got theories or need pics?

okay, it's been a CRAZY life since my last post, both personally and in the grow. before i update the grow, let me just state that: all life is suffering (in some context or another), and your best friend could be your worst enemy... don't trust anyone - hard lesson to re-learn. but at the end of the day, this too shall pass, pain is just a state of being.

Also, some growing drama: two of my bagseeds presumably HERMED ... I already chopped them w/out taking pics, but here's what started growing: it looked like the inside of the male flowers, no sheath. There was no pollen inside the "bananas" but thats clearly what they were. only two of the four bagseed showed them, so those two died, the tallest BB and the crappiest BB both got the cut. After much discussion with my sensei, I have determined them to be false male flowers, but I'm not chancing the whole garden on two (albeit awesome) plants.

Anyways, I'll have pics tonight or tomorrow, everythings lookin good, and I have some great smoke for now!
