For a first time at lst I'm happy, really bushing out. Defoliation needed? In two weeks time I'll be flipping.

I started a gorilla zkittles seed as well just waiting it to pop out the soil. Would like to use it as a mother plant. Unfortunately I haven't got the space to phenohunt so hoping she's a special one. If not Gelato 41 will be thrown in the mix.

Hi!

Well, you said chime in, here’s the thing, friend:
To flower in that size of space you need three or four times more light than you have currently. Good news! You have successfully vegged some plants! ...but they mostly do not look particularly happy to me. That’s one of the new Mars models, yeah? So 340 watts would go a long way. I flower that size area with 480 watts of comparable LEDs, and would prefer to be running about 550 watts. Get a second light, minimum. Get a third one, or one twice the size of that one...Your plants will thank you with better flowers and leaves pointing up like they are receiving wisdom from the heavens.

Thanks for checking in, I'm running two lights. The HLG QB 260 and the Mars Hyrdro, it's roughly under 400 watts in there.

2 weeks will def make a difference.... i dont think its that big of a deal to remove a fan or 2 to let in extra light... around wk2 i would do a final lollipop and defoliate throughout wks 2-5

Just an update the Gorilla Zkittlez is 9 days from popping from the soil and looking alright. Humidity is a bit lower than I'd like but nothing I can do.

The strawberry bananas are 6 days into flower. Yeah I flipped em since I thought I'd use the Zkittlez as a mother plant.

I'd say they definitely need a defoliation however I keep reading too many conflicting threads on why you should and why you shouldn't. I think I'm opting for the latter. If I do maybe just a few fan leaves to increase airflow.

Can't wait for the flowers!

Noticed some slight burn on the bottom left plant which is weird as they've all been getting the same amount of feed. So I've cut back on how much I've been feeding the two on the left. The two on the right are drinking every other day same as the two on the left but on different days, if that makes sense. Gave them biobizz grow, bloom and topmax.

The two on the right keep surprising me as they're in smaller pots. All seems well. Looks like I'm going against defoliation as well.

Removed a few fan leaves here and there on the top left one. The plant was really bushy and where I fimmed it got a bit overcrowded, didn't wanna have a mold issue. Everything is running smoothly.

Been having purple stems from veg wondering if it's just genetics as nothing gives me reason to believe it's a magnesium deficiency.

Making some observations it seems the two on the right are putting on more frost a lot earlier than the two on the left. The two on the left are under the QBs, I think at 4000k just straight white light. The two on the right are under the Mars Hydro TS 1000 with red diodes and warm diodes, which I know a warmer colour temp is better for flowering. I'm wondering whether this is the reason they're frosting up faster. At the same time I'm pretty sure my lights are overlapping so the two on the left should be frosting up the same. Confusing.

Gorilla Zkittlez looking good. Decided to throw 3 Gelato 41 beans in the mix. Plan is veg in this space for now till harvest, space is real tight though so not sure how that'll work but oh well. I'll give it a few weeks in the bigger space then flip. The Gorilla Zkittlez will stay in there and be used as a mother. Hopefully it goes to plan.
