Hello all! I used to have an account on here and forgot my info oops I should probably stop smoking so much! hehe well anyways I will be growing the following

1x White widow autoflower
1x Trans Siberian autoflower
1x California Hash autoflower

I have a closet I don't know the exact dimensions but I have pictures included! I'll be using

400 watt HPS sodium at 2000k
Cool tube
1 12 inch oscillating fan
1 6 inch oscillating fan
XL reflector

I plan on introducing an exhaust fan with a carbon filter with my next check

I'll be growing in soil in 5 Gallon pots

Temperatures in the room are about 74.5 degrees with the fans on and the light on full blast. I'll be using a 24/0 light schedule from start to finish. I have seen a lot of really good grows using that schedule and it would be most convenient for me.

here are some pictures would appreciate all the advice I can get :)

Temp of the room without the light on and the humidity -

Total closet -

closet with light and fan -

cool tube w reflector -

bulb -

ballast -

nice!! love the erasable grow chart(calendar)!! I grew both the ww auto from dinafem and the trans. s. from...??? I was truly disappointed with the ww. Had tiny buds, wouldnt make any seeds... I covered the lower half in fresh pollen. It was 100% green and healthy but I think the pheno I got was wacked. The trans siberian did ok. It seemed to me I could have got better results if I planted in a 3+ gal pot vs a 1 gal pot. I think I actually have a pic of them some where... 5 gal pots are awesome for autos!! Good choice on the luma tek also!! 2,000k? Ive never used anything under 27k my self.... have to see your results. I found the autos under a high powered light (hps/mh) are always smaller and not as healthy as the autos I start under the t5. I have a awesome auto grow going right now if you wana check it out feel free!! https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/775080-regular-auto-grow-take-look.html

Ive grown about 450-550 autos and have my own fem crosses and breeds now. Every cross is better than the original. Im going to up date my journal with tons of bud pics so check back in a few hrs. good luck man, hope to see how the 2k works out for ya!! let me find those pics too!!

DSC00187.jpgtrans sib. DSC00181.jpg so the 3 bigger buds are t.s., supercheese, and la-diva. The one in the black pot to the right is the w.w. which wasnt even pic worthy but it had tiny shit bud.... only got like 1/4 oz at most!! the super cheese was the best by far!!

There is a little star next to journal this post(at the bottom of the post). But yea the t.s. did good, 5 gal will deff be better for her!! I meant to say. a t5 for the first 2-3 weeks then under the hps. But a 400 might be just what they want. I tryed to start under a 600 and they were shitty... my advice is keep the light at least 2+ ft away for the first 2 weeks. hope all goes well 4 ya!!

Update!!!!

My Trans Siberian seed came in the mail on Thursday :) it only took her two days to pop out a decent sized taproot so I went ahead and planted her in a 5 gallon bucket loaded with FFOF soil. :)

She is currently under 4x14 watt CFLs and 1x19 watt CFL just for a few until I can buy another fan to pull cold air in from my attic (About 45 degrees up there :))

Temps in the room are a constant 76 degrees going as high as 76.8 and as low as 75.6

Humidity is about 40%

She has been watered with PHed water and is under a 24/0 light schedule:)

Please leave me comments guys I am looking forward to grow some high quality medicine and would absolutely love expert advice!

so after a couple of hours of letting the HPS run temps were getting up to 81 degrees, I put her back under the CFLs

she's now under

4x19 watts
1x14 watt

I had some questions about ventilation. Would it be a better idea to run a fan pulling air from the attic (45 degrees) into some ductwork pushing cold air through the cool tube and into the closet?

Or should I do the opposite and PULL air through the cool tube and exhaust it into the attic?

She has now broken through the soil and stands about an inch tall :).

My roommates da does shop work and managed to get his hands on a very powerful inline fan we are going to use, so I should be able to put her under the HPS very soon :)

if you have a strong inline fan, 45 degrees is a bit cold. also, the smell will flood the rest of the house when there in full bloom. I would vent into the attic, actually what I set up at a friends, was a vent into the attic.

I started some seeds under a hps and they didnt like it very much. the seeds under the cfl always seem to get bigger faster. if you have to use the hps, make sure its a ways away from the seedling.

looks good tho!! good luck

Thanks for the advice! I am actually gonna run that fan to exhaust into the attic and see how my temps are first. If they're high then I'll run air in from the attic periodically

I have her under 90 watts of CFL for now but I am thinking of switching to HPS in a few days but keeping her about 3 ft from the light

Ok so I now have my complete grow setup ready :)

Here are some pictures I have air coming in from the attic blowing through the cool tube (the air is cold and cools the bulb) and then out into the room. Also have an exhaust venting into the attic!!

I have added a humidifier in there as well keeping it about 50% humidity

Let me know what you think

She is about 5 days old

Update she is 7 days old today :)

Started adding in a couple of 1/2 strength grow nutes today the guy at the hydro store said he has had personal great success with this feeding schedule. Temps are still a solid 72 degrees with about 40 percent humidity

Light schedule has been decided to stay 18/6 till harvest
