400W HPS - first grow - very proud of my babies

the war against little flies is at a stand still.

about 50 of them have been caught by the sticky pads and tortured by stickyness. i have chosen not to release the photos of this for various reasons.

i have studied the soil where skunkybush has told me they reside and have found no weapons of mass destruction.

may god have mercy on their souls
 
Tap the pots. Give them a good tap, a few times. Pick up the fan and aim it at the base of the stems. This is where they lay their eggs, there has to be some.
 
plants are doing well. loving looking after them. we enjoy the occasional chat.. they just listen mostly.

having a tiny bit of trouble with the small one. some leaves are quite damaged. i'm putting it down to being so root-bound because it gets the exact same treatment as the plant next to it but just had a much smaller pot. hopefully the re-potting and a good blast of seasol will fix it up.

hey johnny, some of my leaves are much worse. Ive decided I cant do anything about it so Im focused on the buds.
You got any new bud shots, were racing remember. Myne are starting to fill in.
I put up some new pics if you wanna check em out.

my computer has been fucked for ages so i have to use a mates. i have some good shots but i can't put them up yet. i will when i get the chance.

the plants are looking good. filling out nicely
 
bad news.

both my plants are covered with what seem to be seeds. i think one of them must have been a hermie and polinated teh other :(

does this mean i have to kill them both or can i still smoke the bud??

if i wanted to use the seeds to grow again, what should i do??

At this point I would let them finish. I probably wouldnt use the seed myself. Please tell me you took clones of the ones you knew were female.
 
Yes you can smoke it, Looks good too.
Continue to grow to maturity, Dry, Cure, And separate the seeds as you smoke it, Save seeds and grow them when ever you want,
To keep seeds, place in a dry dark location, In a baggie or a film canaster etx
 
that filthy fucker fletch(mean that in a good way fletch) was right he called hermies early on,but it still looks nice.

thanks man, so would i get less high? or would there be just less bud?

nah i didnt take clones :( i just had two plants i thought both were female but one must have been hermie.
 
I feel ya....not much you can do. Luck of the draw. At least you can still chief a little bit.

I was so pissed...I scrapped the whole grow. But I saw what was happening about 2 weeks into 12/12. No bud developed yet.

I hear it affects the THC quallity, But I have yet to see it first hand, I seed up bud all the time for more seeds, smokes the same just watch out for the "POP" pick out the seed.
 
i harvested 2 days ago. i'll put some photos up soon, not too pleased with the thousands of seeds in my bud. it's gonna take me the better part of 4 hours to get it all out but hey. i'm still pleased with the whole process.

i might do a second grow with the seeds i collect and make sure i don't let ANY pollination occur. i will also make sure i don't allow so much root binding.

seeds suck,but hey you got something out of it and better luck next time,i remember buying a pound of personal in the 70"s to take to the bush,after i cleaned it it was 3 0z of seeds from the mohican pound.
 
Man seeds don't stop any thc production, but for every seed you lose bud mass. I had a Hermie my last grow and let it mature. Nice plants man. How was the smoke? Peace
