Hi guys. Was very busy lately but now time has come to start the second grow. Going soy this time and doing 6 plants 12/12 from seed. Have germinated 2 ak48, 2 WW, and 1 WW x WW, and 1 black domina x cheese. All except BDXCHEESE have broken soil yesterday. Hoping to see it's face today. It's bin a long time. How are you guys doing ?

That's was just a phrase. Broken the soil, broken ground, broken coco. M still on coco.

M planning to go 12/12 from the moment I transfer them to pots from seedling tray. Do you think I would be able to take clones if they are under 12/12 throughout?

Yes it can be done. The clones would probably take forever to root since you are doing 12/12 thru.
You could top em an use the top as a clone before force flowering.

Clones would be in a separate clone box with 24/0 cfl lighting till they are rooted.

I didn't expect you to root under 12/12 lol.
What I'm saying is they would take longer to root compared to clones that were just taken while under a veg a cycle ime.
But yeah sounds good since you have a separate space to root the clones.

Nice Blackhawk!! Hey question on coco, any problems with small black flies? I know some people run into those with coco, that's usually something you only see in soil.Hi guys,
Firstly, thanks to everyone on this website. I have learned so much from you guys. It is because of you people that I realised I can do this and got enough balls to spend so much money on this. Plus it is almost impossible to get good pot here. Whatever strains you guys talk about I have never smoked apart from purple haze that a friend had sneaked from Amsterdam. I really want to do this right.
my last grow was a failure as I had to go out of town for a month and plants died. Now starting fresh.
Have built a grow cabinet which has 3x2x5 width x depth x hight flowering chamber. Gonna b using a 400 watt hps throughout at 12/12. The HPS is housed in a cool tube.
I was supposed to start with northern lights and ak48 but u fortunately my beans got stolen while I was away.
Now placed a new order. Waiting for them to arrive.

OK, thanks. I thought it was rare with coco. Maybe some people were just using a bad batch or their room isn't sealed up enough. I have run into them with soil, but not coco yet. I know some soils can carry the fly eggs which can later hatch in your grow room.

all these are 10 weeks old and were grown fully 12/12. the two at the back are over 3 feet tall and the one on the front is a single cola and is about 1.5 feet tall.

the little black flies are probably fungus gnats...clearly, i've learnt now that they're encouraged by humidity...
the problem is that these flies don't do shit, their larvae fuck seedlings sideways through the soil...you have to
get rid of the flies with sticky traps and prevent them from breeding by covering the soil surface with sharp sand
(construction quality) or perlite - they cannot breed on this surface.

the ak48 looks brown enough...i'd be tempted to chop it off going by how it looks
white widows look a week or two away..
