Looking good my friend, damn I forgot how long this seedling stage actually takes lol.. I've been spoiled with my perpetual lately haha..

thanks wally!!

LoL. thanks treez, i was just looking back at pics from my other grows and they all a litttle ahead of these 2. heres old bean, new bean, 1-1, 2-1, and molly all at 8 days, all bag seeds, and all females except old bean. the only difference up to this point is the soil, i really think the scott's hyponics is some good stuff.

Its not to far off though, Plus there different/ "better genetics" so maybe that has something to do with it. I have heard the KK is a slow starter, I didn't have anything to compare her to though. Here she was at 2-3weeks.

hey cool, thanks. i know, i just wanna see more than 2 leaves, LoL. off to turnout man, i get my kennel licence tomorrow morning, gotta sneak in 1 more time, LoL.

i have read a lot about sunblaze. one of the electricians on the site said that the CFL's are just spiraled T5's

ok, thats still cool for my plant to put the 4 - 4 footers, one in each corner of the box. or maybe just 2 footers at plant level in each corner for side lighting. that should work, right? with the 10 bulb fixture hanging from the top. biggest factor being heat. i swear i posted this but couldnt find it, sometimes i think i just dreamed posting this stuff, LMAO.

Yea those t-5's don't get very hot at all either, my buddie uses them to veg and they do a decent job. I'm sure it would be much better with the t-5 cfl combo!

yeah, T5's dont get as hot as CFL's because there ballasts are normally seperate. the ballasts generates a good bit of heat. your idea should work well, but you will have to place the ballasts outside the box to minimize added heat

day 9 and the plants are looking very happy today. there getting bigger, soon they wont need a booster box and turn on all 4 bulbs. the pan of water seems to be working good as the humidity is between mid 30's to low 40's. you can see in the pic the way the air is drawn across the pan and up over the plants. temps are running at 82/84. everything going great.

im gonna have to think about the lighting deal, i really want some side lighting this time in the flowering box, i'll figure something out. maybe i'll just 2 t5's for that.

I'm telling ya buddy, take that circulation fan out of there. They do as much to hurt as they do to help. At least try it during the hottest part of the day. It sounds like your ambient plays a large role, so its hotter in your cabinet during the warmest part of the day, and cools down as the day gets cooler outside. Just let your exhaust do the work of that circulation fan.
