My girlfriend has never owned a dildo but I think its going to be a lot of fun. We already tried one of these:

something mechanical is your best bet. if you get an actual dick shaped dildo bigger than you and she likes it, she may become accustomed to climaxing with something larger than you. then you really will be inadequate
