Great journel
Tronica! I just now ran across this for the first time---I saw 'AK47'...... I just got ak47 seed from serious through attitude...... Do you know who's your breeder on your ak? Forgive me if you've answered this already(I only read a few pages).
Just wanted to add my $0.02 on the bubble cloners since there seems to be quite a bit of talk on it here.
I've been using my diy bubble cloner for over two years now(49 sites). I guess I must be one of the 'insanely lucky' ones as I get 100% most every run now. I 've used most all of the other methods as well, many times-though not aero...... RR's work too, given the right conditions, as with most all methods. But there really isn't anything more simple and easier than a bubbler, or cheaper. Your looks just great.
There are a couple of critical things with the bubblers is all. Oh, unless I am revegging, I get roots within 10 days!<---my MoonFlower roots in 5-6 days...
Argue all you want but this is my conclusion to having your bubblers get you 100% just as fast as any other method....
I have two main rules for the success I 've had:
#1. Never ANY nutrient or rooting hormone AT ALL----------nothing
#2. The water needs to remain at or over 80 degrees---yes 80(the cuts will get their o2 via direct bubbles. 80 is too warm to hold much o2 on its' own) And contrary to what most think, 90 degrees is not too warm, but I 've found the fastest results at a constant 83!
Those are the two things that people will doubt- but they are in stone, man. If you have nute in there at those temps you'll grow slime and scum.
You can get a very cheap aqurium heater for that little guy and do wonders. Keep that water deeper so you always have a good 1/2", or more, of stem in it. Fresh, clean cuts-no crunches/crushes. You only need one low watt cfl. Take or leave the folliar misting with h2o only(no nute). I do usually mist a few times a day the first couple of days.
They'll start to yellow as they get roots and want food. Your in soil so you can go straight to it if it's not hot. I assume you 've heard about MG--I 've never used it so I cant say......just doesn't sound good. If you want to veg for some reason right in your bubbler you can add very mild nute once the root nodes appear, but watch for algy type scum to grow if you dont get the temps back down around 65-70, and the roots will tangle but come appart with a bit of effort.
Here's my bubbler: Pumps not shown........
Something else you might take note of if you didn't know: You dont want your donor mother plant to be loaded up with N as it will hamper root growth on your cutting.......
Sorry.hope you find some of this useful........Great growing to you!!
