Figured I’d do a grow diary , as I’ve never done one before , just some random pics .

Yesterday was day one for four speedrun seeds I germinated . I’m doing four different strains , acid snow , god particle , froot fuel bx , and a “mystery seed”

the setup is a xxl 4 pot autopot system . 9 gallon pots with a 50/50 mix of coco coir and perlite .

yesterday afternoon , started things off by mixing up a nute solution for my seedlings . I used roots exculerator and a small amount of fox farm tiger bloom “to stimulate root growth” the same formula I use for my clones in my ezclone 128 .

my well water here is a heavy 380ppm , so we dialed in to 600ppm and 6.0 ph , dropped the beans into root riot plug , I then drenched the plugs with 5ml of the solution .
I took the 3” grodan cubes , and soaked them in the solution , then dropped the plugs into them , put them in a tray with a humidity dome .

I put them in my 4x4 gorilla tent , with my fluence spydr 2i , set on 40%.

checked them this morning , and I gave the acid snow some Manual help to shed its shell .

by the end of day one my mystery seed , was standing at around 3/4” while the froot fuel bx and god particle have shot out of the gate to 1-1.5” and froot fuel bx around 2.5” .

tonight I dropped my light down closer so that I could prevent them from stretching heavily without having to crank the light , and produce mass heat .

now I’m going to assembly my autopot system , get it installed , as well as figure out where to put my humidifier “9 gallon fabric pots use a lot of space” and install a 8” exhaust fan . I’m growing these on my insulated front porch , so they’ll be seeing plenty of nice cool air as air conditioned and can stay anywhere from 62* and up .

bottom left is the mystery seed , bottom right is the god particle .

tomorrow I should have them in their final destination , and I’ll continue to top feed till the roots have hit substrate and can benefit from the wicking effect of the autopots and canna coco A and B
I’m gonna drop by to check comments daily. I doubt I’ll update every single day , as I work a farm and literally spend all day long 6/7 days a week , doing this . This grow should be fun , compared to commercial outdoor growing
Have a good night everyone

Looks like I was a little short on coco and perlite these 9 gallon fabric pots hold more substrate than my 10 gallon fabric pots outdoors !

I’ll head to my local supply store in the morning , grab a brick , and get it soaking so I can rinse it out and buffer it asap . I don’t suspect it’s gonna take these lovely ladies long , to grow roots through the grodan and into the substrate . I may throw some pictures of my other plants outdoors , just for substance , while detailing out this grow .

Anyways off to bed , got a lot of work to do tomorrow and I’m beat !

Day 2 , my substrate has been buffered too 5.6 ph , as well as drenched in a nutrient solution consisting of 20 ml of canna A , 20ml of canna B , 6ml of roots exculerator , and 3ml of orca myco - 5 gallons spread amongst the 4 sites , and my little ones are now in the substrate . I’m running my light at 30% , and will be dropping it down to 24 inches above the pots , keeping humidity high with a cool mist humidifier in the center of the tent , a small active air
Fan to move air around , and the lung room staying at 62 degrees , which seems to keep the tent hovering around 75 degrees now . I’ll be installing my 8 inch exhaust fan soon as well , and throwing everything on a controller by the end of the week .

I really was sold on trying this Dwc/aero combo, and still will - but I saw the results autopotamus was getting on instagram , and had to jump on the band wagon immediately . We will see what the results are when finished

Seedlings are starting their second set of leaves . The acid snow is behind but catching up . The buffered coco , seemed to have cooked the god particle seedling. I’m hoping it bounces back strong. If not I have two fast buds banana purple punch I will replace with . Hopefully 10 more days and we will have roots down into the coco and ready to kick on the system . I got a small 4 inch intake fan drawing cool air from the insulated porch at 65* , and a 4 inch exhaust witj A carbon filter to vent out moisture and kill odor.
I’m really excited to see what happens with these autopots . I also picked up the rest of the canna coco line of nutrients cannazyme, boost , rhitozone and pk.

the only other thing I will add is probably rock resonator when I start flowering as my results have been phenomenal with it so far .

Doing alright , the god particle definitely does not like the buffered coco . The top feed I’ve been giving is next to nothing tbh , and 11 other autos are loving it .

I may have to swap it out for one of the fastbuds banana purple punch as they’re growing faster than anything in here and have been in here for half the time , thats what’s in the grodan tray in the center of the tent .
Overall happy with the first week . I have a feeling they’re gonna blow up this next week , and hopefully within 14 days, I can kick this bad boy on and be lazy lol.

Week 2 in the autopots , and they’re down into the nutes for sure . 3 days and these little ladies , drank up 2/3 of my 13 gallon reservoir .

the mystery seed is by far the fastest growing as of right now but acid snow and froot fuel back cross , aren’t far behind !

the god particle is coming around as well .

I really believe the hype behind these autopots now - I guess we will see in another 2-4 weeks , how these 4 autoflowers can fill this 4x4 tent up ! IMG_2571.jpegIMG_2572.jpegIMG_2573.jpegIMG_2574.jpeg

Day 21 , couldn’t be happier . Having to adjust ph daily , seems to climb by a full point in a 24 hour period .

I shut off my pump also , as it was causing the reservoir to heat up and grow some awesome smelling bacteria “yuck”

I have light light nutrient burn , I’m running off the canna coco website for early veg , but my well water is 380-420ppm , so the ppm is actually in the 1000-1100 range , vs 6-700 with ro water .
I’m also showing sex on all 4 at day 21 - everybody has hairs . Mystery seed is definitely the most vigorous , but the little god particle in the bottom left is picking up speed . IMG_2639.jpeg

Things are moving along nicely - finally got my lighting and nutrients balanced out . Did some defoliation on a few . The mystery seed , acid snow and froot fuel back cross are all similar stature - mystery seed is definitely the biggest .

Noticed a slight calmag deficiency which I addressed two days ago. Added some gold roots exculerator , and switched from fox farms ph down too CES ph down . Fox farms definitely took less to put me in the 5.5-5.8 range , but every 12 hours it took adjusting . This stuff took around 3x as much maybe more , but it has stabilized and in 36 hours I’ve risen from 5.6 to 5.7 “way more ideal “

I’m on the fence about topping these .. I hear a lot of people have good luck , but I’d hate to slow growth down , and jeopardize yields . Everyone knows autos are not forgiving at all .

Did some heavy defoliation and LST today . Cleaned the entire system and reservoir “smelled like dead hookers and dirty ass”

I eliminated the rhizotonic and cannazyme from the equation , as well as the gold roots exculerator .

I also raised ph slightly , because I think I may be on the line , and coming close to mag lockout

roots are 3/4 of the way down , and out of the fabric pot , from 3.5 week old autoflowers , which to me is insanely impressive .

had to spray with neem oil yesterday “which is difficult given I run 24hr light , I just reduced to 4% on my dimmer , let them sit for 3 hours and then cranked the humidifier for 2 hours to perspirate , and clean the leaves . Then Turned my light back up to 40% . And cracked the valve for another week of just adding ph down for the first day or two .

these autopots really simplify everything and are offering insane growth rate . The node spacing and branching is wild , for 12 inch tall plants .

hopefully this next week they’ll double in height .

This god particle was the baby of my 4 , and it’s absolutely stacking up into a beautiful bush - while my mystery seed and acid snow got a tad bit burnt and are suffering from a deficiency .
Froot fuel BX and the god particle are rocking away no issues thoughIMG_2738.jpeg

Week 6 and they’re stretching as well as packing on flower sites . Tried some training but branches are doing what they want and the foliage is so tight , that I had to defoliate a few to let light hit the majority of the plants.

I will be lollipopping soon , to hopefully send that energy into nice top buds . The god particle is furthest behind .

Things have sped up nicely - some pictures , the bud closeup is the acid snow , back right in pictures , and is my favorite so far .

I do have a nute issue , I’m getting lockout from what I believe to be way to high ppm. Issue here is that my tap water alone is 420ppm.. I think next run I’m gonna use 25% of canna coco feed guide, and keep my light intensity low and height high to encourage more vertical growth .
The flower on the acid snow and “mystery seed” back left , is definitely dank .

the god particle is just getting going but honestly will probably end up being the heaviest yielder if it stretches decent , and the froot fuel bx is gonna be the runt of the litter

next go around will be 4 greasy runtz clones from exotics genetixs IMG_3017.jpegIMG_3001.pngIMG_2985.jpegIMG_2986.jpeg

Small update . I drained 5 gallons of nutrients out - added 10 grams of epsom salts , and rock resinator to the 5 gallons I replaced . I got my
Ppm down to 700 yesterday - and 6.0 ph . Plants are praying today , sucking down the nutrients at rapid pace . I also reduced light intensity down to 75% , and at night I dim down to 10% to allow them some “shade so to speak”
. Main issue now is I can’t seem to remove enough humidity from my
Lung room to keep it at 55% or less - and with two plants less than 2 weeks from finish - I wanna avoid any PM / mold .

I’m assuming the humidity spike is from the plants absorbing a lot more water then they had been - creating a much moister environment . Can’t wait to post pics of the finished product on the mystery seed and acid snow ! The acid snow is special for sure
