All the new clones I took are looking good as well. I will be keeping an eye on them over the next 2 weeks. As soon as they root they are going in soil....

9 days into flower and I found my first hermie
. Not that big of a deal, I pulled it and disposed of it. I had the last grow go to long as I have been reading that if they go past ripe they will develope small yellow bannana shaped pods that can fertilize the female part of it's own bud. I also read this is a way to create fem pollen. I wonder if that's why my female ratio was so high?
The clones are in their 5th day in the cloner and no signs of roots yet. I took a pic of a male I kept, it's the last pic. It's about time to move it to it's own room. I picked up an outdoor streetlight at Lowes that runs a 75w HPS. I will use that to finish flowering the males.
I have one plant that has fucked up leaves and I can't figure out what the hell happened to it. They are all in the same soil and have all been given the same food and water at the same time. It's the pic's right before the male. Any ideas?

That sucks, the first pic doesn't show it but opposite the female pistols is a male pod. I also forgot to post the pic's of the plants I took off the tops of and fried all the clones with to much heat. So I put them here. I took off the ties and the lower branches are standing tall like a bunch of tops. Any ideas on what happened to the plant in my other post? It has pistols all over but all the leaves are yellow and really small, like they aren't forming all the way... weird...

wow, wishin I had the answer for you! That was a great eye seeing that hermie that early......I 've only spotted mine when the banana thing started coming out-----and then I knew I 'd be finding seed.......

I've been reading alot about people with this many plants not looking close enough and having their whhole crop get seeded so that's why i try to take the time to look closely. I also know the dif of what the female caylax looks like before the pistols come out and how it's different than the male. This helps out alot on finding them quickly....

I pinch the bananas when I find 'em. I see that you have a larger crop than me and loosing one out of the bunch doesn't hurt quite as much.
In a few months I'll be moving my ruderalis production inhouse and I'll have to get a space like yours.

Thank you DubB. I only grow in the winter and it last me all year... I am looking foreward to next grow, i'm going to grow some various strains of haze... I've been checking out the different kinds and I couldn't make up my mind so I'm going to but several srtains and see what happens...

I am on day 11 of flower and figure I better get the males out of the room now or be pissing and moaning later. I just want the pollen they will be giving so I'm not worried about how nice their room is. I went cheap and just used a cardboard box and a street light with a 70 w HPS. I will line the box with white poster board including the floor. I will shake the plants after I see pods are open and scrape the paper to gather the pollen.After I get enough from each of the three males i will kill them off and throw the box away or store it for next winters use.
I may build a nice box like Chtteah and use the light for a mother plant when i start growing the Haze strains next year. Does anyone who is reading this have any suggestions on what strains I should try?

I am a kid in a candy store with a list like that.
When you collect your pollen make sure you get it all off of yourself before you go into the flowering room.
Looks like you got a plan, heck even a cardboard box with 2 100w equivalent warm white CFLs works great for male plants.

Of course you 2 would chime in when I just reped you... I didn't purposly leave SH out. I am looking to step up a little next year and want to find 4 absolutly kick ass Haze strains to grow. I will be getting regular seeds and will be looking for a keeper father as well as a mother.
