I spoke to soon. I pulled off the shade leaves and the buds are covered in the short tric's, not the long neck kind like on my other plants. I don't know why they only have tric's on the bud and not on the leaves. Hopefully it will be enough to do the trick.....
 
should be 5 man but hey at least its putting the energy into the buds, had you planned on using the trim for owt in particular? i recommend the honey oil if youve got a tube!! mind bending

I always think I'm going to make hash or some shit but I always wind up just pitching it. It's only like 3 plants the rest are covered in stickey gooey trich's.... What's honey oil and how do you make it?
 
oh yeah honey oil is made via the butane extraction generally a nice golden colour hense the name honey oil

water hash is better in my oppinion i favoured honey oul and the gumby method till i got me some of them :)

and theyre full of shit the fines bags are the best not the gold one moreso the gold ones when it becomes worth smoking in my oppinion the other shits good in joints :eyesmoke:

Where does the time go? I had 2 big jobs come in and my daughter got sick so I haven't been able to do updates. Let me catch you all up.

Last saturday I chopped all the tops of the plants. The lower buds were going through a growth spurt and their trich's weren't all cloudy like the tops, they still had alot of clear heads. They are fairly bushy from being so close to the flos. Now that the tops are gone they have thrived and are being cut tonight. I will get some pic's of the chop later tonight and I will post some of the already cut plants tomorrow or monday as they are not here anymore and will have the rest of the plants join them somewhere else where they will finish drying and curing. The place I live in now is so small that after the chop the smell filled the house so they had to be taken else where... The tric's on the kine bud are amazing! They cover everything to the tips of the smaller fan leaves. It looks like they are wet with dew. The B plants also are covered but not as many trich's on the fan leaves. It was the E plants that had huge buds but had almost no trich's on any of the fan leaves, only on the buds.

I will post the pic's later tonight and when I get to the others I will give you a weight on the buds as they need to be cut off the stems still. They are still hanging and the small branches just got dry enough to snap so they are ready for the jars.....

I had them just air drying in a cool dark place with enough air movement to keep them from molding. I have a sinus infection and a cough so i can't smoke right now anyway. I have tried some after drying them on the window sil and the hot water heater. It is good but I was hoping for some 2 hit wonder....

I went to the grow room tonight to chop them down but I hadn't been in there for 3 days since I watered them last. They had all went through another growth spurt and had a ton of new trich's. I used the microscope and there is a whole new crop of clear trich's. I checked 15 different leaves from several plants that looked like they should be done. I still haven't found a single amber head on any of the trich's. I looked back over my grow last year and found that I had let them go to 11 weeks last time. I think I'm going to post pone the harvest til I start to find a few amber heads. They start week 10 ntonight. I will try to get some pic's up but haven't been able to find the camera and may have left it at the job site yesterday. I WILL get them posted as soon as I get the camera back in my hands. I think you will be amazed at the final weight as the bottems of the plants look heavier than the tops and the tops look to be over 4-5 ounces without touching the6 plants I had in their own pots. I think the tops got nute locked and still had growing to do if I wouldn't have chopped them. Oh well, The trich's are all cloudy and it def has the up racing get shit done high that I look for....
 
Ok ok ok.... Here are the pic's......

The really good shit weighed in at 22 grams, the good stuff was 23 grams and the ok stuff was 43 grams. These were only the tops and I still have 6 plants I haven't touched. I expect to get twice as much of each on the next harvest plus the 6 should put it at a lb and a half..... That will take me through the summer and into the next grow. I will keep the pic's coming after I do the second harvest..... I've passed to a few good friends and they loved it. I have been sick for a week or so and haven't smoked anything til today. I loaded 2 bongs with 2-3 hits on each of the Kine bud and felt like I did a line of coke. My heart started to race and all my sences hightened. I could feel my heart beating through the arteries in my neck. I had some visuals while driving and then about 30 minutes in everything was chilled and I went into the 1000 yard stare with a million thoughts running through my head. It lasted a good 2 to 2.5 hours..... I'm very happy:hump:

I wish I had Westies camera. Mine sucks for close ups. The close ups of the buds truely don't show the crystals that absolutely cover the buds and the small fan leaves surrounding them..... Oh well what are you gonna do?

Thank you my friend. There's alot more to this than putting a seed in the ground and coming back in the fall to see if it grew. It takes time and dedication and alot of trial and error. I'm Going to be putting in my seed order this fall so I can get some strong genetics in my program. I'm still interested in the Haze strains but I think I may put in for several others also. I'm not real keen on ordering over the internet so I want a one and done but I didn't buy or load the card and it's not coming to my house so that takes a little of the edge off.....

I'll update again in a few days with pic's of the lower parts of the plants that I left growing.
 
5 oclock, those girls look great man, I skimmed through your whole thread, didn't have time to read the whole thing now. Did you end up being able to do any of the breeding you wanted to in the beginning? Thats the only reason I want to get a male is for some pollen. The only plant I want to be male is one of my mangos, I'd like all the rst to be female, cus I need the wieght of all the plants! if one of the mangos goes males though, tha could be sweet, I'll try out a little breeding with it. Have some mango kush, and some mango skunk, maybe alittle albino mango (ww x mango). I should be fun, I'm hoping I see some signs of sex on my sativas within a week. Great grow though man, I'm glad I checked it out.
 
Thank you for stopping in. And yes I did pollenate some of the lower buds on some of the kick ass buds that grew. They are mature now and are starting to split the cylax. I hope they will be as good as the moms!!!
