Started feeding the ladies Top Booster today, so hopefully we will start seeing some chunky buds! Everything is looking great and on schedule. I will take some more pics tonight at lights out so you can see the buds a little better

Ya some of the hairs on some of the plants are turning red faster. Buds top starting getting dense.

I'm growing with 2 240 watt Blackstars. Verdict is still out. I did meet a dude last night who does 500 watt Blackstars and says he is getting very fat buds.

Lucius, I'm using a 240 veg and a 500 flower and my only suggestion with the 240s is try to minimize the number of plants under the light and get it as close to the canopy as you can.

If you look at my previous grow in my signature, I did a 500 watt blackstar grow already. Buds are dense and fat.

Thanks man. im 8" off right now. 2 Blackstars and 3 plants. If it can't handle that im in trouble. If it goes well we plan to order 500 watters for our whole grow.

If you are using 3 plants, you will be fine with 2 240s. I'm glad you are not trying to cramp as much plants in there as you can. Sometimes, less plants = more yield! 500ws are awesome but 500$. If you can afford it, I highly recommend it. If you think 240s are slightly pink in color, wait until you see the 500 in your tent. I didn't see anything but pink for the first week when I closed my eyes to sleep.

Forgot to water my plants by one day and I freaked for a couple hours. THe bottoms of the plants were showing signs of needing watering by wilting over and the leaves almost look dead. After feeding the plants within a couple hours they were back to normal! Pheew! Anyways, the buds are definitely getting noticeably fatter lately, and the mature smell of buds is very prominent. There is a possibility that the LA Cons will really finish a little early, but the OG Herojuana looks like it will be at least a 8 week cycle. Well guys here are the new updated pics:

I really hope they fatten up ALOT, otherwise I take back what I said about the LED's because at the moment they look week 3 flower w/HID max...

Sleezy- How often are you finding you need to water flowering with the LEDs and what is your grow medium?

I water then wait 2 days then water again. I use FFOF but I am looking into using another medium next grow so I can start Nutes 3 weeks earlier.

Umm.. Im just sharing my grow with all you, this is no competition or comparison with HID. I think they are doing great on day 36 of flower. Also, next feed I start shooting powder and that is when they start really fattening up.

The issue im having is I have 3 large plants that are ready to flower but im going to keep them in veg for awhile due to a trip. But the soil stays so wet and I don't need to water but every 4-5 days under these 2 240 watters.

How much are you watering your plants? I water my plants a liter and a half each time, and they are in 3 gallon pots. For that, I water every 2 days. But maybe your watering them more than I am. The soil should be dry halfway up to your index finger. How long is your trip? Every setup and plants are different, what works for me might not work for you.
