My plants are still stretching like crazy. Not so much tall but fatter. I just looked at my 2009 grow which was the last time I grew plants in this corner of the yard. Two pics are my plants in 2009 on this same date 8-27. Two pics are how big they finished.

It looks like I could be have a epic stretch again for I am getting a few inches a day it seems. Anyway pics are best so here you go. As you can see I had lots of growth even into Sept. They will not get as big as 2009 but gives me good idea of how much more they might grow. Very few yellow leafs as well same as 2009.

Still exploding big time. The last weeks growth is amazing. Been putting up some cages and netting. Some I used wire cages and some I just work trellis netting over the plants. Once I got the netting worked over the plant I use a few stakes and wrap the netting around stakes to hold it all together tight.

Building rain covers this weekend. Not going to cover them yet but getting the frames up. I swear to you it's going to be interesting for sure.

Man 5150, seeing your outdoor monsters looking so full and healthy makes me want to try an outdoor grow next summer to take advantage of Oregon's amazing summers! Great looking plants!

Thanks man, whats a trip about this year is I used zero ferts in veg. Nothing but natural backyard soil and perlite. Plus I did not restart until June 9th. I know my soil has mega N but not sure on the P. So I been feeding flower ferts from fox farms. I will let one of the smaller plants go with no more flower ferts. If not I will always be wondering if they could grow to finish with zero ferts.

When should I throw plastic covering up? Built myself a frame around the plants, just not sure when to add the plastic over it.

I look for first solid week of rain in sept. That or when you start seeing heavy dew in the morning. Will be making my frames this week slowly. Last year no rain till Oct.

3 months old today. well 3 months from when I went into the ground. Some were 6" starts and some were nice little 12" well rooted clones. Backyard soil has performed like I thought it would. I will let one of my smaller plants go with no flower ferts to see what happens. although they all been feed flower ferts so test will be flawed. But it should still give me idea on whats in the soil.

The Mendo purps has yellowing and purple leafs. But all the rest in the ground have had very little yellowing leafs. Potted plant is yellowing like normal.

Some pics.

Thanks man,

Some cool night shots right at dusk. I like the night shots for you can compare them better to last years grow in early flowering. Well it seems anyway. Anyway was messing with the camera and this is what I came out with.

With my natural backyard soil I get very few yellow leafs. I know I get them for I see a few dead ones inside the plant. But for the most part it's safe to say very little to no yellow leafs. But the Mendo purps is getting the yellow and purple leafs mix a lot. The mendo is in the ground as well. So mind of it's own a guess. The potted plant is yellowing like normal. All the others are really dark green. The Plush berry is the thin lighter plant. It's got the same soil as the others. The plush berry is the slowest I have. I was hoping for the pink pheno but it looks like it's not the pink one.

I am just guessing but I think I am right about 3 weeks full flower. I will have to go back and check. The Mendo was in full flower Aug. 5th.

3 months old. Kind of proud of that. More so with all natural soil. Who would of thought?

Started my covers today. Do not know how good it's going to work but I will find out soon. Did not measure anything just went on the fly. Still more covers to make. Going to use this big table umbrella for the tall one. Some dog kennel arches for the small one in the corner. Carports with smaller legs for the others along the patio. Wood cost me about $15 to do this. 6mm plastic was dumpster dived from my work.
