Well I germ ed a few grinspoon on July 1st in solo cups so I'll keep them in there and attach those pics as well and I'll use my purple widow as the "main" entry.
not sure much can compete with this pheno of a purple kush X white widow I crossed last year and grew a few out this one was ungodly frosty and a very nice purple/black color, luckily I took a bunch of clones and selfed Iit until it was stable.

Guess you've never seen a really dark purple strain then. Some purple hues are so dark they almost look black.
i don't use mg i prefer organics.
Not sure what you smoked but mine sure does have flavor.

I think TKO said he wouldn't put hard limits on # of weeks a strain should be, but to use your noggin, as nobody wants this comp to go 6 months. Just use your noggin, and if you have a longer-lasting strain, germ at the beginning of the germ window, as a courtesy to fellow cuppers.
