60 days into flower are these ready

I see so many people asking this question as a first time grower and really do understand why.
This is my first grow and I want to make sure I harvest at the right time.
I am growing super lemon haze from green house seeds. Says 60 to 70 days. I switched to 12/12 68 days ago and saw pistols about 61 days ago. I do have a loop and did see about 1% amber trichomes on some of buds. Some of the bottom leaves are dying off even and i havent changed my watering schedule, just a change in the flora trio. They didnt like the change as this was my first bit of nute burn. Water about every 3 days in soil with nutes every other watering.
I have attached a couple of pics taken today. Not the best but any suggestions would be appreciated.

I just trimmed the dying leaves 2 days ago which gave more light penetration to the bottom nugs hoping they will swell.
I don't want to over do it with the amber

I’m just learning indoor but outdoor id chop the top colas and let the lowers go another 5-7 days

Will I get anymore mass out of these?
More of the trichomes are turning amber.

Looks great. You can harvest in stages indoor too letting the lowers mature. I heard from a really respected grower here that the second harvest can be stronger than the first and that a lot of his clients prefer it.

I have just recently been having a hard time with temperatures. 80 t0 85.
I can keep the humidity at 45 to 50 but only by sacrificing the temp. I have dehumidifier in the room my tent/cupboard is in with an old 3" vacuum hose taped on top blowing the treated air directly into the tent but th unit raises the temp.
I have very good ventilation.
What is better ? Higher temp or lower humidity.

Will the bottom buds swell

You’re not getting any foxtailing and you’re really close to harvest so I would go with low Rh over temp personally. 80-85 isn’t bad. What kind of light? And yes they will swell.

It's a king plus 1000watt LED.
I think more of the heat is related to the dehumidifier. Temps outside have cooled off here and we turned our central air off so the room is actually heating more.

Where I was going with the light type is that with LEDs you can get away with higher temps because there is less or no IR so the leaf temps tend to stay lower.

My only problem with harvesting is the top first is that I need to use my tent to dry the bud. It's the best controlled environment I have

It's pretty hard to tell from here, but if you're seeing amber I would chop. Looks like you have a lot of trimming ahead. I always harvest on a weekend so I have plenty of time to trim them. When I think it's time, and it's a week day, I wait for the upcoming weekend then chop.

Never grew or trimmed before. Hell pretty much been 35 years since I toked.
Thinking of drying first.
Also thinking not trimming the smaller nugs and using them for butter or oil. IS there any problem or issues with not trimming these small nugs for that use

Nice work! Your plant(s) are definitely in the harvest window congrats! Your plan for making butter/oil with little nugs is great. I would only use little nugs and the nicest frostiest sugar trim. Don't put any leaves in that aren't frosty, it will just make everything taste more planty.

nice work. grew the same strain/breeder combo indoors a year ago now (finished in oct) and got 4 zips per plant. got two diff phenos (one was covered in red hairs), but both were fire! enjoy your upcoming harvest..



edit to add.. yours look like they could go a week or more. i pulled mine 65 day from pistil, but breeder times are not absolute and usually too early rather than late.

I killed one of 5 early. It was definitely a different pheno. Tall and lanky. Too much light early and over watering. Only affected two plants. The other recovered.
That pic makes it look like a lot. About 8.5 sq ft and the bigger buds would be roughly about the size of lets say a lemon for lack of something better to describe them.
I have no clue what to expect weight wise.
I will hold out a bit.

If it's been 35 years, your in for a real treat. It's always been amazing when I've smoked for the first time in a while. The longest I went was 6 years, but that was over 20 years ago. I'm a little jealous. And it's your own, even better. Nice job.

Smoked about 6 times In that span
First two were just after. Same bad leaves. Did some hash 20 years plus back. Messesed me up bad. Last fall had a couple tokes when intoxicated, put me out. A buddy gave me a spliff. ( do we still say that lol.) Of SLH since he new i was growing some two weeks ago. Smoked It In three sessions. Pretty buzzed.
Looking forward to getting somewhere guiet and getting messed up.

Little disappointed with yield.
7 days drying.
Dry weight 6.2 oz of bud and 3oz of trim with smaller buds mixed in.
Any tips for improvement welcome

Grown in soil(black gold #4) and fed with GH flora trio. Water about every 3 days, every 2nd watering with nutes. 1/2 gallon each plant each time.( extra 1/4 gallon would drain out each time .
Vegged for 6 weeks with lst and scrog .continued to train for next 3 weeks then kinda lightened up but not totally. Lolly popped after 3rd week of flower.
1000w king led at a about 20inches.
Area is a out 30 deep by 46in long. Approximately 8ft2.
5 gallon pots
4 plants

My thoughts:
Never let water flush right out. .plants always did seem happy

Tried to get to many bud sites for space. Maybe to much competition.?

Maybe handled them to.rough too long?

Never did like the flora bloom at the end. Nute burn

Light???

All and all ok but always want to improve
