hey all,
the girls are looking great - I'd say the GDP is the most pungent right now. The GDP, Bubblegum, and Purple Hawaiian are all tied for thc abundance - the Chocolope and Morning Daze are legit, but I think the others have more trichs on em.

I changed the reservoir(s) today - Flowering res, 20 gal, GH nutes:
- No FloraGro
- 200ml FloraMicro
- 400ml FloraBloom
- 200ml FloraBlend
- 110ml KoolBloom
- about 20ml MagiCal (Technaflora)
- about 15ml Awesome Blossoms (Technaflora)

In the vegging reservoir there's only 2 gallons:
- 25ml FloraGro
- 15ml FloraMicro
- 5ml FloraBloom
- 20ml FloraBlend
- No KoolBloom

(pH in Flowering is 5.5, pH in Vegging is 5.8 )

The vegging closet is getting there...we're not done, but it certainly works...the Monster Bud seed that I planted a while back is doing great - its the biggest plant in the closet.

All comments and whatnot are welcome, enjoy the pics - there are plenty of them...I also got some just when the lights turned out

I just googled Chocolope to find out what it was. Nice. Despite the Kush I'm growing, I prefer a good Sativa. I can't wait to see how that turns out. I don't recall running across anyone growing it here, but I've never specifically looked for it. I've never seen it in any dispensary either. At least not in my neck of the woods.

yeah i'd say it's a pretty rare-to-find strain. That's kinda what I'm going for - minus the GDP, everything I'm growing isn't super common around the bay...GDP is everywhere in the bay though.

Yeah, I got a few of those GDPs in the ol closet myself. The clones are everywhere right now. I've seen the Chocolope on some seed bank sites, looks pretty sick. Have you done the GDPs before? Any info on time/yield?

nice dude. I've never done the GDP before, but as far as what info I've gotten from different sites is about 7.5-9 weeks (63 days was the absolute longest someone had let it grow, but 8 weeks average is about right) As for yield I'm not really sure, probably - hopefully - 2-3 ounces per plant depending on conditions...its hard to say

Still, there's something cool about growing those exotic trees you haven't smoked as much. Kinda amplifies the whole "waiting for Xmas morning" feeling, knowing there's gonna be some kind of rare treat waiting for you.

yeah for sure dude. I'm all about variety and trying different strains - and when I find one I really like I'll keep some mothers (kinda like what I'm gonna do with the Bubblegum, and perhaps another but I'm not sure yet. The Real Tennessee cut of Bubblegum is super rare - at least it is around here - that's why I'm planning on keeping that one in particular) As for the other strains, like you said it'll be like christmas a few weeks after harvest - hell it'll be christmas at harvest cus of the finger hash! :leaf:
