68% RH too high for curing?

Did i hear correctly that air exchange is necessary for proper curing as the addition of 02 adds somehow to the process?
Early on, say for like the first 2 weeks or so....Yet, I suppose I do give some more then that length wise....I always get interested in where it's at and look to see..

I get air exchange as, mostly in 5 gallon pails with screw lids...
Still, when quart jars were used. I would open weekly and sniff, etc. to judge the activity.....

You can cure at 68 but risk mold.
Cure zone is 55-70
With ideal being 62 RH.

The first week you need to open ONCE a day. No more, no less.
In a vacuum atmosphere like a Mason jar oxegyn will react with the gas and bacteria eats the chlorophyll. If you open too much or too little you ruin the cure.
Bring the RH down to 62.
Burp ! Open the jar and take the bud out for 20 minutes to bring it down 1 RH
Once you BURP the RH down to 62 RH then you can start only burping once or twice a week. No more no less.
After week or 2 at 62 RH and only one burp a week , then you can keep bringing it down to your desired smoke level 45-57 RH for storage.

If you do it right your bud will smell great, be sticky, smooth and have maximum potency.
