good point about the wasted light in between buckets. My girls are almost 4 feet tall, and the root mass is super dense, and only fills 1/3 of the bucket, still. the rest is just res, making it last like a week and a half before i have to switch it out.

you're gonna run forever in that tub and not have to switch the res.

That seems like more of a rip off... $1,000.00 for a 1000w light.

ive read multiple opinions on this subject, any one know for sure... count days of flowering when its in 12 12 or count days of flowering when it first shows sex? from seed mostly indica put in 12/12 at 9"

I count days/weeks from the day 12/12 starts.
actually, all plants start flower, harvest on different day especially those plants grow from seeds, even it's same strain.

PS. i'm noob. Do NOT believe me =)

Flowering starts on the day of perpetual 12/12.

It really does not finish until the trich's tell you they are done to your satisfaction .

thanks for response only thing that confuses me is i got a purple clone that i put in 12 12 as soon as it had roots(a week ago), and it sprouted pistils after a week, while the same strain from seed took damn near 3 weeks

so i was researchin nutrients cus i dont seem to be getting the results i want, and there seems to be an awful lot of leaves getting burned or defecient. i stumbled upon a thread here on riu talking about botanicare has low ph just changed their formulas. so out of curiosity i went and checked my ph. (i never really check it, i never had much problems like this before). the water turned red for 4.0 and below... i am really pissed i added ph up and ordered advanced nutrients conniseur and b-52

i flushed about a week ago when i switched from botanicare to advanced
