Dropping out of school, training up muay thai and Vale Tudo to go pro in MMA, to my folly I later decided I was sick of fighting training eating stuff that lacked all taste, and I realized despite I could go pro I didnt want to, I wanted something diffrent in life.

I was in 7th grade, one of the 3 out of some 20 kids in my class who's parents didn't take them out of school for the day out of paranoia. Not until I got out did I find out what had happened. The teachers at our school didn't let us know what happened so it wouldn't "scare" us. Most of us knew, but didn't know any details, even though at 13 I doubt I would really comprehend what has really happened.

Wow.. it's been 8 years... jeeze... I'm getting old fast haha

I went to an all-guys high school. I say this because of how loud it normally we were together. I was sitting in the "designated freshmen area" of the school (I was a freshmen at the time) when an announcement came on saying a plane had accidently crashed into the world trade center. They put TVs in the auditorium and cafeteria for people who had off periods/for teachers who would allow their students to watch. I have never heard 1000+ high school guys be absolutely silent for a whole day. Other than the tragedy that was 911, being surrounded by hundreds of people my age who were as silent, confused, angry, prayerful is something I will always remember. I watched the second plane hit the tower in the cafeteria, learning this was not an accident. My school is also in between 2 airports, so there are constantly planes flying over. At baseball practice that afternoon, it was strange how silent the skies were.

To those who think this was a conspiracy:
1) You're fucking stupid... (I had a much larger statement here, but after re-reading it, I decided those 3 words summed up what I had to say).
2) Yes, lets kill 3,000 people, destroy the airline industry, destroy the stock market, destroy the 2 most important buildings in the world economy all in the pursuit of oil.
3) 1993 WTC bombing - They tried and failed, 2001 was them finishing what they had attempted.
4) Lets crash a plane in a field and kill hundreds of lives here just to make it seem like a terrorist attack.
5) Lets crash a plane into the most/second most important government building in America to add to make it seem like it was terrorists.

Honestly, use a little logic every once in awhile instead of spouting ignorant bullshit solely in the pursuit of finding another flaw in Bush.

There's a whole thread already discussing if 911 was an inside job or not;

Go post your rebuttal in there.

no more conspiracy theories please
I remember seeing it on TV, and knowing what was happening before any of the news agencies put 2 + 2 together. They were in as much denial as the conspiracy theorists are.

The conspiracy theories are a way for people, who can't accept what really happened, to deal with it. It's denial.

It's a fact that mid-east radicals - some motivated by Islamic extremists - have been targeting the US and Israel for decades.

And nothing happens in those buildings, without the union bosses knowing about it. If you are still clinging to conspiracy theories you should get some psychiatric help.

The Internet doesn't filter fact from fiction, or the crazy people from the sane, that's the purpose of the ignore feature.
