Hello again. I decided to not take any chances as I am so proud of my plants. So I took each plant outside put them in another holding bin and pruned all the big leaves off and sprayed them down and while I let them sit in sun I washed the floor down with bleach and the bins they were in and then put them back. It was an extreme mesure forsure as I only saw maybe 50 little critters. But I figured if I saw 50 then multipy that times 10 and that is propbibly the real # of them so I went extreme. I rather lose them now to over pruning then to bugs during flowering. Any suggestions for future will be appreacated. I also hung 4 fly strips to maybe prevent more in future. My room is extremely clean so not sure why it happened in first place. But bugs find a way....

Wait a few days n spray again if u see more bugs, this will ensure that u hit them at different stages of there life, when they r weakest. As for smal white larvae, there r so many insects that r small white larvae when they r young this really isnt enough info to diagnose.
If the pics in the thread rnt of any help, then google small whit larvae images n see what matches what urs look like.

Thanks XXn, I was in there a bti ago and found 2 more larva and cut off the leaf they were on. The plants are doing good and I did not shock them which was what I was worried about most. Question thou. Now that I am 3 days in 12/12 light should I go back to 24 hour lighting to help the plants or stay with the 12/12 to keep the hormones going as they are for sexing?
hey all u guys, i hope all is aite wid u! i got a slight problem, i have fertilised my baby and added some molasses 1 tbs/gallon. then it rained like a mother fucker so i was not sure if she got flushed by the rain so i just added a bit more fert (15-30-15) to be in the safe side... however, i noticed 1-2 leaves, just 1 finger of them, turning dry... can u advise something... shall i flush the girl or wait to c other reactions...? soonest replies are needed ma man...

I would leave them in 12/12, you have several weeks b4 u get buds neway, so you should b able to clear the problem up by then.
Plus fuckin wit d light cycle now will only cause undue stress and proli hermi ur plant.

Hey man, does it have burnt tips? That is the biggest indicator of over fert. When leaf goes crispy it is normally a sign of over-watering, but when only a few fingers of leaf go crispy then it is most likely Nitrogen toxicity. The outside of the leaf is where Nitrogen is stored in the plant, and if it reaches critical levels then it will really burn up the plant.
Best advice is Flush like a Mofo and remove affected leaf (within reason).

My interest is in white flies. They live on the plant, in the soil, and when i turn on the light, and shake the plants, dozens of white flies swarm out from the newly developing buds. How do i get rid of them, if anyone can help, please answer.

One way ive found good to get rid of white flies is the sticky traps that they sell @ most garden shops. The fies get stuck to it, and cant get off. If u cant get them then i use a small container with Honey or Maple Syrup. The sweetness attracts em, and they become so heavy in the sticky nature of the syrup that they cant fly away and drown.

Pyrethrum seems to work for a multitude of household pests, including spiders, spider mites, flies, fleas, etc. Any Pyrethrum fogger or spray should work fine. Pyrethrum is a neuro-toxin that works on pests by eating away at their central nervous system. It should have no harm to you as long as you are not exposed to large amounts (don't spray yourself obviously) and as long as you aren't allergic to the substance (fat chance).

i went out to one of my sites today, and found all 5 plants completely striped, only stems remain. my fences were still in tact so it wasn't kangaroos or wallaby. i was just woundering if you would have any idea what could have done that. they were about 1/2 foot long. hadnt checked on them in about 5 days. my other sites are all fine, just that one got hit.
oh yeah there were alot of ants nests at that site. is it related, i didnt think ants went for plants

Ants at the Site u say.. Hmm, well it wudnt of been the ants that ate them, but ants work in conjunction with Aphids (they harness the gooey excrement they give off).
It sounds like the Aphids definitely could've caused you these sets of dramas..
..A 200SX, Kangaroos, Wallabies.. Wudn happen to be a fellow Aussie would you?

Um not exactly. You don't want to be in your room when a pyrethrin bomb is being used. Any of the a aerosol pyretrum/pyrethrin insecticides is likely to have piperonyl butoxide. Piperonyl butoxide is nasty stuff, bad for humans. Also Pyretrum breaks down quickly in sunlight. Spray/bomb at the begining of your dark cycle.

The traps don't work for getting rid of the white flies. All they do is capture one or two so you can get a better look under a microscope. I have yet to capture one in the glue traps or I would post a picture of it.
SM-90 is what you should spray on your plants for all bugs, it is non-toxic to human and animals but deadly to bugs. Also add it to your reservoir to kill the fungus gnats that are eating your roots. It also kills everything that is bad for your plants (like root rot) does not kill what is good for your plants nor does it hurt your plants.
For a bad infection spray every three days and then once a week after that. To use to prevent bugs use every week from start to finish. It does not slow down the growth, it actually improves the rate of growth.
