Decided to set up a couple plants in my sun room.
Visited Greenhouse Seed Company a while back and took home some OG White Widow.
Now I have never grown WW before. I prefer Super Lemon Haze or Afghani x NL#5
But let's give her a go.
I've used AN before with predictable results. So I'm going to switch from their standard grow and bloom to their Connoisseur grow for Coco. Since I'm growing in Coco.
Now I'm an OG and don't do the paper towel or cup starter method.
I much prefer washing and priming my Coco with some good old fashioned tap water, and priming with myco and molasses, and a touch of micro nutrients. Getting that healthy colony of myco built up before you start your seed helps with growth and disease resistance. I usually fill up my pots with my washed and drained coco and sprinkle the myco starter in as I mix it. Then mix some micros, and molasses like 1/8 strength. Then cover with a plastic bag and let the myco grow for about a week. This is the same process as growing mushrooms.
Then I place a chopstick, clean and sterile of course into my pots, shake the newly wetted seed in myco powder and drop in the hole.
That's it. That's how I've done almost all my grows.
Now, it's been a few weeks, and I've used nothing but what I've documented here.
Tap water
Connoisseur for Coco
Myco (any)
Molasses
I supplement light with some off the shelf led panels. And often place them outside on my patio for some extended sunshine.
For bug resistance I use diatomaceous earth in a light soap flake mixture and spray it on everything. And I mean everything. It won't hurt the plants. And bugs can't stand the stuff. And it's organic! Just please for the love of all that is holy don't inhale the stuff. It's nasty on your lungs.
I water them maybe every 2-4 days depending on if it's raining or not. I'll notice the leaf drop and water then.
I'll post photos soon as I'm already a month or so in and my days are fully packed.
