This is a first (and total amateur) grow using the AG Classic
I saw a way on this site to add a third light to the two-light AG hood and decided to try it. It ended up being pretty simple.
Pop out the AG logo on the hood, pushing from the inside of the hood. Get an extension cord. Test that your cord plug wedges in place facing inward before adding the socket and light. Add a plug-in light socket and screw in a CFL (I used a 100W equivalent, 5500K from Home Depot- two for eight dollars). Run the extension cord out through the hood and wedge it in place facing inward.
It will be lower than the built-in hood lights by a few inches but that's OK for what I'm considering a first and simple grow experiment.
