Advice how to dry huge buds?

Hi,

I have a Critical CBD few days before harvest.
The buds are huge.

What is the best way to dry it? I am using wedryer (its a must I have no other choice)

I will do wet trim, should I split it to pieces before dry or leave it as it is?
Just worry about mold.

The humidity in the room is 35%, inside the wydryer its 40-45%.

Thanks,

By weight, when its dry it stops losing weight. 35% humidity is low, depending on temp it may dry too quickly. 60%,65°F is ideal.
Edit: look up budwashing if you think theres mold spores present.

the temperature is 65-70F

I don't know if I have mold spores, just I had mold in the past for this strain (not the last grow) and I am careful about it..
I did co2 wash in the past

I’ve had issues with the center getting moldy before when there that big. If it where me I’d take my pictures and split it in two to dry
I may do that too

In a few weeks
Yes, its not full yet, but I am afraid of mold.
its 67 days since flip, almost all the hairs are brown.
Still not much amber in the trichomes but I don't know, its so huge and busty, looks ripen enough, no?
The first photo is not the latest
here is the latest

dry it too fast and it won't allow all the stuff you don't want, like chlorophyl, to degrade

if you are really worried about it I would suggest breaking them up as sad as that might be

I am trying to dry it slow as possible, but the air condition is drying the air in the room to 35% and I can't add humidity cause its the same room as the tent.. and I need low humidity for the end of flowering..
But inside the wedryer its a bit more humid, 40%+ so I hope it will be fine

Yes I will break the big ones

70 degrees or colder, trim while wet, hang for 7-10 days in a tent with exhaust and filter running. Wait for stem to make splintering noises, not snapping. Then jar. Should be around 58%

Thanks that's what I am doing only the tent is working so its in wedryer

U need to buy a 2x2x4 tent for your next dry. Plants themselves will keep humidity higher in the little tent while they dry

You need to just pay attention to that splintering noise boss. Get them in jars at like 58%-60% humidity. You might have to play and burp for a extra week jarring so fast but that's better than overdrying to fast and getting grass not bud.

Your conditions are so dry you are using a space to INCREASE humidity and you are asking if it will mold? Heck no do it right no chance it molds imo. Air exchange imo, vs airflow, is the key when drying. An exhaust running intermittently is ideal, just enough to maintain your goal RH%.
