Advice on bending

Hey hope someone can give me some advice my ww is about 4 weeks old iv got them under a 600watt hps lights are 42 inch away really hot days right now i decided to give bending and topping a go first timer ill attach some pics i bent them trimmed the leaves so new growth could come through any ideas to do it better or anything i should do would be great. 20180330_081343.jpg 20180330_081348.jpg
 
Hey mate thanks for the reply yeah completely new to this ill get rid of the fishing line should i keep trying this method or just let them grow naturally ive topped the main part of the plant and if i still bend them should i bend the main stem over further or any advice would be great. Cheerz

To do the technique properly you need to get the top of the plants new growth down more at the level of your lowest branches in the pictures for the lower nodes to take off in growth and size

Be careful though, plants do snap, usually can be saved if you happen to go to far and will knuckle the "wound" and carry on growing.

"rolling" the stalk between your thumb and index finger where you intend to make your bend works very well to aid in tying it down. And as suggested, rubber coated wire is your friend

^^^This is what I do to my plants.
Once you have 'softened up' the stems they fold over quite easily and form a knuckle.
The one product that Miraclegro makes that i'll buy.

if you happen to bend or break the stock to much you can use Scott,s tape ,to help mend the stock. i hav

You wont them to grow rapidly and become main branches themselves, instead of staying small off branches with no production. If you stress train / supercrop alot more branches become main branches and big producers
