Advice rolling

First post. Peace 420 eveyone! Much love. I am encountering something weird. I don't remember ever encountering this in daily joint smoking for 40 years. I have definitely had my share of joints not burning. I am assuming something odd has happened to the weed. It is the strain I always buy here in Canada. Blueberry/Northernlights. And I keep it in a mason jar as I always do. The joints just started gumming up. The weed 20201026_135539.jpgjust wouldn't burn good. And this happened all of a sudden. I have tried 3 different kinds of papers. Pic enclosed. I take two tokes, and part of the weed basically turns to oil. I get it on my hands and lips. I am curious what happened. Thanks. Take care.

So is it oils coming from the weed? Only time i see a similar trait is in joints that have some tobacco, if the roach is wound to tight or has a fibrous edge it sooks up the tars in tobacco. Assuming it can't be that given your years of experience smoking and rolling the same way? Out of curiousity whats that hanging out the top of the roach?

That's hilarious. It must have been something that stuck to my lip becsuse of the oil in the end of the joint. We have a lot of trees, and it is fall here. There is all kinds of stuff falling off the trees. I smoke in the backyard. I get my order in 3 days and hopefully it is the weed, and that will be the end of that. It's fall so there is no humidity Cheers.

LOL Yeah sometimes they like to poop in your mouth......nasty :spew:I have a half a j sitting there because I couldn't pull anymore.

Sometimes it can be rolled to tight but it also can be the bud. Usually good bud.

Roll the j between your fingers kind of hard but not too hard and take out the end pieces of weed that should clear things up

Maybe let the weed dry out for a half a day or more and see if that helps. Sometimes I don't dry down my weed enough and it will bleed brownish black shit and get on my lips, etc. from a joint. I have to nip the end off so it will draw again.
