the water isnt stagnant when water is constantly injected aggetating the water in the tubes hence all the bubbles, and flowing back into the res. Ive used these system a lot and they are much better run NFT style. Ive tried them with drain tubes all the way down plenty.

Naturally I wasn't responding to you about the timer. Didn't mean to make it seem that way;-) I was talking to those who think running the pump/pumps on a timer is where it's at. So Relax

I started building tubes similar to the now aeroflo tubes around twenty years ago. Way before GH did. I would still be rocking them today if I really didn't give a shit about plant counts. Only reason! I haven't rocked "MY" tubes in almost 10 yrs:-D

Always 6" tubes. And mine flowed more than GH's version. Only flowered directly from freshly rooted cuts/no veg. Hard to beat bro. But yeah, way to many plants when "trying" to comply. Lol

That was my thing i had the 5 systems under 5 1000s when i started. 40 in each lol. 1 week veg after clone. Yields were insane. But after catching a manufacturing/maintaining drug house case for having a bag of moldy trim and stem, i dont fuck around at all over my legal limiys lol

1 pump needs replaced do to a leak. All lines were replaced before the last 3 month cycle i did. All pumps were stored inside. Otherwise ive got hundreds of net cups and caps to go with them aswell.

I love that system I got a better design but first we are working on a daber pin and refills catrages.. also looking to redesighn an easier way to clean those chambers just need capital first.. so the pins will cover the desighn and production I got a sick design

Square or round tubes Thump?
I designed/built most of the tubes I did with round(6" square didn't exist yet, Or I wasn't aware). Then aeroflo came out, and I scored some of their 6" square blanks and built quite a few. I still like the round better because of the rubber end caps w/pipe clamp, for cleaning and maintenance reasons.
6" square setup a hell of allot easier though huh

No round would be easier for shure just wanting to incorporate anything larger for misters and root production I remember weaken up n that tube that controle water flow down into the res would clog up n water all over floor root cloging the drainage .... Just want better control better air flow better clean up better coil food grade chilled water no hidden creves or nutrient buildup in chillers in submersible pumps have a lot of holes creveses that hide round after roundbuild up if ur gona come with it god dam it COME WITH IT!!!!!!! BETTER DESIGN!!!! THIS IS SUPOSE TO BE ALOT BETTER BUT FUCK I HATE THE OBSTACLES???

I'm still hella jealous though:-( i/we absolutely murdered it with my tubes in the 90's/early 2000's. One of us got popped in '94-95, San Jose, and the newspaper reported how space age indoor marijuana farming is now. Lol(wasn't so funny then though)

I keep saying I'm gonna rock the tubes again. Fuck, I have 12-9' tubes drilled, all the caps bought. Taking up shit loads of space in storage. What the fuck is the matter wit me? :wall:

Well shit man, where do I begin? Lol
Couple of them:
I use an 2" abs coupler for drain. It would be hard for me to describe how tall the half up in the tube ends up. Anyways, Drilled tight, but with a little epoxy underneath. Keep in mind, this is 6" ROUND. Problems with Drains on square tubes don't exist. Than 2" abs pipe for riser and to reservoir,
1/2" pipe up on the inside. The tweeks would be how big the holes were and where aimed at.
Gph per certain length of tube. Ended up with around 400 gph per 8.5' - 9.' length of tube/rail.

There's allot more :-D
None of them THAT special. But I sure did dial in them tubes. Toot toot! Lol
