set up
10x10 foot room using 5x10 for flower with 3 600w hps one light each over a 2x4 table with 8 plants in 2 gallon air pots, coco, dtw.
I am using a second bedroom as a lung room to bring cool fresh air into the flower room. Problem is the spare bedroom really cant be used except for storage as it normally sits between 53-60 F. this is brought into the flower room passively, then exhausted thru filters and back into the main house (recover heat). I would really like to get my spare bedroom back.
Here is what I am thinking
Install an air exchanger, HRV or ERV in the flower room. Will bring fresh outside air into the air exchanger and exhaust it thru the filters and back into the house. Accomplishing (I hope) bringing fresh cool air into the flower room and exhausting the warm stale air back into the house. I believe this should work as these are put in homes everywhere. whether it will do what I want it to is another question.
my concern is that I live in the FAR north to most of you. When it is -40 F or C , will this unit still work or is it to much work for the unit.
this is the unit I am looking at. a little big and pricey for what I need but I cant find anything smaller
I don't mind spending the money if it is going to work, just hate to throw money down the drain just to find out it doesn't work as I intended.
