To whom is your reply intended. If me, it's not my thread, don't want to jack it unless given OP permission

Bottom line, it's fantastic for top feed hydro WHEN the medium is fast draining, ala various size polished ornamental rocks

FYI I have a completed thread on RIU and couple active threads on IC

hey, so I have a 5gal ( equivelant ) air pot 2/3 full of tga super soil on the bottom and top 1/3 is ffof, my question is since these pots are so much smaller than the 5 gal smart pots will there be enough to carry her all the way thrue flower ? I have used the 5gl smart pots many times with no problems but the more im looking at this there is significantly less medium in the air pot,,,,,,any help, advice, or experience would be great

I've tried them. Wasn't a fan of all the water that pours out the side holes but i have also seen a nice palm tree in one.

I don't get why pay so much for these when fabric pots do the same thing.

How often do you have to water 2 gallon air pots at the plants' peak water consumption?

I'll guarantee my airpot will last long than your fabric pot.

I water my 3 gal equivalent every 2-3 days or as needed.

here's a pic of a plant I am growing in a 5 gallon air-pot (equiv)...It's my first grow in an air-pot....She is at about 8 and 1/2 weeks here....Plant is a Kerala Krush - freebie from Herbies. Grown under cfls and two T5HO's...Using Jack's Classic and Blossom Booster along with Floralicious Plus.



I have since ordered the propaganda pots as well as the 7 gallon...Can't wait to see how the next grow goes using them from start to finish especially ending with the 7 gallon...If this is the 5 gallon what will the 7 gallon look like !

Quick question for you airport folks-- if I fill my 2 gal air pot with hempy mix and stick it in a 5 gal bucket, does this kinda give me a modified hempy/sip setup? I think I'll pop an air stone in the bottom of the 5 gal and see if I can use this method to go longer between waterings...what do you think??
