they're from a bag of my friends crop, but that crop came from a seed bank... Not sure. Will find out... Look for the journal this sat.

Just went out to check up on them, i'm gonna let the soil fully dry now and go to watering every other day instead of every day. All plants are doing very well with no visible problems. This grow is going to be my first successful, and I'm very proud of the progress that is being shown.

any input as to how long I should veg? I was thinking 2 months so that would leave that about another month and a half to veg, would that be suitable or would it be worth it to go to 12/12 sooner, or hold of longer.

depends how big you want your plants. I would say decide a height you want them instead of a time. Say you want them 2 foot in veg, then grow to 2 foot, then flower. Figure out how much space you have and use it to your advantage. I'd say measure your heigth to a certain amount below your light so you don't burn your plants. I don't know how far those lights need to be though, I'm not an expert in that.

i'm pretty sure it's 3 ft rule for a 1000w. My ceiling is like 9 ft so the max height of my plants would be 6 ft. If i'm not wrong plants double their size during flowering so I should prolly veg at 3ft resulting in 6ft plants. (5ft not counting pots)

Okay just went to check on the little suckers, still no need to water. The temps fell pretty low out there today because winter is looming and the fan has been running 24/7 which really cools it off at night. Last night it fell to 51 degrees in there because of the fan. I solved this problem this morning by installing a 24 hour timer that I have set to run from noon to 6pm daily. (The warmest hours I figured). I'll update later on today if I can.

the police only send out choppers when they are pretty much 100% sure there is a large scale grow operation going on. It would not really be worth their gas to scour my city and bust me on 4-5 plants. Errrgh I hate even talking about this, gives me negative vibes. Fuck the police, if they catch me, then i'll blow the blunt smoke in their face as they cuff me.

Well now we can have a proven case of where a 1000w did not burn up the seedlings, they have never been under anything but this light. I love learning about growing, this shit is so fun.

I just started to germinate 5 Australian Blue seeds that I got free from my order from drchronic. They are being done the same way as my original seeds. If they all germinate (I have never not had a seed do so using my oven method), then that will bring my total plant number to 10

Just added 4 more pots to the growroom and filled them all with a foxfarm/perlite soil mixture. The 5th seed I'm giving to my girl for our aerogarden. Will be cool to compare my hps/soil to her hydro. The seedlings will be planted in about 3 days.
