Alittle confused - Transplanting and Feeding question

I started two auto flowers in Jiffy pods. Once they sprouted, i transplanted them yesterday into Jiffy pots with Miracle-Gro Seed Starting Potting Mix (MG) with added perlite and verm for better drainage. I know that most people will be against MG, but it's the only thing i have at the moment. I do plan on transplanting them into 3 gallon pots with FoxFarms Ocean Forrest soil, but i'm alittle confused with the feeding. According to the package, they should be transplanted once the first set of true leaves appear and started on a feeding schedule. One of my girls, just sprouted the first set of true leaves but they are tiny! I'm not sure if i should ALREADY transplant them to FF since i JUST transplanted them yesterday into the MG, and from what i've read FF is to hot for younger plants.. NOOBPROBLEMS :< )

Anyway, this leads me to another dilemma.
From what i've read, FF can feed plants for up to 3 weeks.
Does that mean that once i transplant them, i shouldn't start feeding nutes until after 3 weeks or unless they show signs of deficiency?

Thanks in advance

What size jiffy?
If it's the small 4" looking one, you should be fine for a couple weeks at least.
I wouldn't feed for 3 weeks or so, when you feel it's time after that, or just wait for some lightening of the leaves.
You will see them not such a dark green as they age and start getting hungry.
Don't let anybody give you a hard time about MG.
I think it's all in the user, not the soil.
Here's a pic of the plant I have flowering now, pic taken at 21 days from sprout in MG moisture control soil with 40% MG perlite.
Next pics taken 7 and 10 days later.
I fed a couple days after the pic and transplanting.View attachment 2508025View attachment 25080266dec10_zpsa6eea805.jpg

Yay, i'm glad to hear you say that. I was worried that i messed up the quality of my bud because i decided to go with MG.
Alright, so to make sure i got it..
I am using the 4" ones, so it will be ok to not transplant until a few weeks.
When i do transplant, do not feed for 3 weeks or until plants start yellowing or showing signs of deficiency, right?

There is no problem with using MG as long as you go with the moisture control or organic mix. The others have time-released nitrogen capsules that are too hot for young seedlings and too much peat moss it's not good for drainage. I would still recommend transplanting into FFOF as soon as possible, your plants will love you for it.

Just so you know, the moisture control also has the little time release balls in it too.
And, reading the label on the MG perlite bag, says it also has nutes in it, which I didn't see when I mixed it, until after I had planted.
