Yes. I noticed the nitrogen toxicity. I have fixed that. I was thinking that could be a reason why some sugar leaves have amber trichs. Any input on that?

I feel like some plants just have that look, where the pistils are either quite small or there just aren't very many, and they tend to look closer to "done" earlier. I want to say it's a girl scout cookies thing, and crosses thereof.

Anyway yours looks really good, but it's gonna be at least another month or so til it's really really really good. As others have said your patience will be rewarded. Maybe some plants are done in 40-50 days, but those are probably cut early by cash croppers who are in a hurry, if it's just for you're better off waiting to get it nice and ripe.

If you really can't stand to wait just take one bud off and dry it and try it. Nothing is going to change for the worse in that amount of time, and then you'll know if it's a good idea to cut the rest. And when you do that, take a look at the trichs inside and you will see they are way more clear/immature than the ones on the leaves.

I often recommend a partial harvest so that you can compare the two. Experience is really the only way for you to know when it's time, so I say give it a go. You'll learn something from it regardless, so there's really no downside. Good luck.

I will cut one nug. The one that looks the oldest. Then ima post again and tell yall what happened. Will the plant go in shock as usual for like 2 days?

Means nothing - triches on different parts of plant age and mature at different rates. The calyx areas are the usual places to scope. Trying to judge a cloudy vs. amber is a moot point in actual whole flower maturity. As you get more grows under your belt - scoping triches will be old fashioned. Most experienced growers can judge a flower by sight alone.

Yes , you “ could “ take the mains or the most harvest ready buds and leave the mids / lowers to harden off with a longer finish.

Awesome. Thanks man. I have very little growing experience and find myself doing research all the time. I know that there is only a few ppl who know what they are talking about. I appreciate your time for sure.
