It will be fine. Plant and grow.

Just had a disagreement awhile back with some know it all about damaging roots when transplanting. They swore up and down that it was going to stunt the plant blah blah blah. Couldn't handle the truth and put me on ignore.

Here's what I did to prove them wrong.

I had a few plants that needed to be transplanted so I used one as an example and ripped off half the roots.

The plant on the left is the plant I root pruned. The plant on the right is a plant the same age and size but I didn't do anything to the roots. Both transplanted the same day. You can see that the plant on the left that I ripped up the roots is bigger so definitely no stunting. I Always break up the roots when transplanting and sometimes I tear off the bottom if they're too rootbound. I'm not telling anyone to do what I do but showing that it's not some nightmare scenario and the plant is going to die.

Plant that girl, water her in, and don't worry about it. It's just another plant. Just because it's cannabis doesn't mean it grows any different than other plants. Don't sweat the small things. You'll enjoy growing much more.

Good luck with your grow.

Great response to my concern! Thanks for taking the time to response!! I don't have a green thumb with anything, but I am learning. ;)
I've been growing plants of all kinds for decades. Very few are going to be harmed by a loss of a few roots under normal conditions.
