An all blueberry grow

So heres a few to get started They were just up-bucketed yesterday and look extremely hungry. Fed them this morning so I think by tomorrow they'll begin to perk up.

I'm trying to get used to the Kodak m575

should be interesting for trichome shots, I'll probably have to crop a lot of these pics though.

Thereyouare!
Man thetext box got screwed up by rollitup, I haveso much trouble with it now.

Looks good, can't wait tosee them develop!

Update: had some bugs on the lower leaves so I sprayed them down with insecticidal soap. Then noticed the PH of the runoff was testing really low.... that's why they're hungry they're locked out!

I've been balancing the waters PH to about 8 and the runoff has been coming out as 6 so they seem to be leveling out.

Yesterday I'd up-bucketed the plants to the size that they'll finish in.
They're still looking a little haggard from being overfed and locked out for so long, otherwise I think they'll bounce back within a week or so.
seems these plants are nute sensitive compared to my last grow. should make it interesting as they bud out.
I'm having a hard time deciding when to flip the switch to 12/12, there are only 5 plants so I want them to be enormous.

Thanks! unfortunately the plants having been getting worse as the days go by. I thought they'd just start recovering after the transplant but NOPE!
the lower leaves are yellowing and falling off and I'm getting fairly large dark necrotic spots. the runoff is coming out at 6 and I've been giving them balanced water since the transplant. it's weird how things can change in a little over two weeks...

I'm hoping that the plants aren't diseased, but at least one of them is looking like it should.
pics up in a bit....and they're embarrassing...

Here they are looking a little happier, yesterday the soil was still wet so they weren't stretching for the light, today the tops are reaching up and I noticed the leaves are getting darker green. looks like they're finally leveling out. You can see in the background some more plants started to replace this strain for a perpetual harvest. hopefully I'll have one sexed and cloned for a complete swap-out.

Things are looking better now, with the ph leveled out the tops are really greening up.
In about a week and a half I'll start budding them, basically after I see the reaction from the next feeding.
Here's a few pics of the tops of the plants.

Well I think the plants are getting a little too tall, So I'm going to start bending them and anchoring the branches to the pot with string.
I want the height of the plant right now to completely horizontal, making a kind of ring of buds when finished.

In anticipation of bigger buds I used the last bit of Pro-mix and put two more plants in larger buckets.
I've bent some branches and now think in about three weeks they should be ready for 12/12.
So most likely by April these plants should be done and the next batch put in.

The buckets I used were the same used in the album "monsters of 09"

The plants are now taking up nitrogen quickly and I sprayed them again for bugs.
I'm sure within three of four days I'll be flipping the time to 12/12 and the excitement begins.
Haven't been updating as frequently as I'd like because the power to the pc conked out and now I'm stuck using the macbook.
but at least the girls are green and happy.

Last night they spent their first 12 hours in darkness. when I checked them this morning most of the leaves were pointing up.
I'll take this as a good reaction, seeing as I've been feeding them small amounts of big bud while vegging, it may help them transition to the flowering phase.

I usually start feeding them big bud after 12/12 and they really take off after 7 to 10 days. I'd like to see a difference in the first few days.
Also I'm adding a tablespoon of molasses to the water every other feeding. (which I may dial back if they start burning)

The plants are forming buds fairly quickly now that its the 13th day of flowering.
I've been keeping an eye on the ph of the plants, as I increase the nutes the drop is pretty significant.
these plants aren't putting out much smell at all, but once the trichomes start coming in they should start to stink.
I have some pictures taken on the 28th and some pictures taken a few days ago the difference in growth is amazing.
up in a few.

Heres some shots from the 20th the first day of 12/12.

And now for some most recent shots.
the first two pictures were taken on the 30th

the rest were taken on the first.
I'm working on perfecting the close-ups so I can take pictures of the trichomes that really blow your mind.

Now the trichomes are forming on the small leaves surrounding the buds.
All the other strains I've grown had excessive trichomes even before budding, So I assume this strain must be a late bloomer.
I'm using a lot more ph up and something called stress relief product, it seems to keep the ph level higher for a little bit longer.
the essential oils must be helping the smell of the plant because when I smell the SRP it smells exactly like fruit loops, now the plants are giving off that scent as well.
