Another side by side....by side HPS VS DE HPS VS COB LED

Hi, I read whole thread a lot of usefull info out here, very awesome work.
I about to get some COB light as quick as I can, thats why I got a question, I have atm tent that is ( 80cm/80cm/160cm not sure how much it is in ft's ) and found this COB's http://www.advanced-star.com/index2.php?lang=uk&id=produit&idproduits=56 Will it give everything the plants need as only source of light from seed and flower ? I thinks of 1 or 2 plants in the tent
Big Thanks for answers, good luck and keep that gr8 work !

I know them it's a french company that resell chinese blurple sh**t to growshops here! My advice: forget this option or at least buy this kind of "lights" directly in China!! ;)

Here are the temps, they have dropped since the winter hit in the mitten. Here are the temps, DE HPS, HPS, and COBs in that order. These are the hotspot temps for the HPSs as the COBs have a uniform temp.

The video shows a bit more like the light temperature and reflectors/ heatsinks. To give people a number of how much the difference in heat is. Multiply the cobs by 16 to get the whole light output.( the number of cobs used)

Looking good bud!! Cob side looks real nice. They like that white light. DE-plant grew pretty close hu? Might wanna bend her away like 2' if possible. Got some biggenz on the HPS sides. Much more stretch hu?
Whatchu 35K'ng it?
Looking good. Thanks for the update.
I was serious about that product I recemended earlier. Get it n use it. It will rid your mites & won't harm your buds or leaves. Nows s good time before the buds get to big & you'll have a lil undetectable residue. You'll be happy you did. Can't afford to lose a crop like this man. Especially due to some easy rid mites. That would be a shame.
Keep us posted.
You notice any differences you might wanna discus w/ us?

Cobs are 4000k 70 cri. I haven't seen a my love mites for about 4 days and sprayed this morning, didn't see any before I sprayed either. I'll be waiting 3 more days then doing the last spraying and that should be that... I probably don't need it though.

The biggest difference I've noticed is the height between them, with the cobs taking up maybe half the height as the others It's good for anyone that has a small space, I don't anticipate any more height from here only stacking.

Week 5/6I'll start the Koolbloom pretty much as early as I can. As it works as a stand alone... I'm very interested to see what mammoth P does in combination.

Koolbloom and liquid kool bloom are a marketing scheme, no plants need that much P/K. It's one of the main reasons the instructions tell you to dilute the shit outta it and also reduce your main nutrients during when you using dry kool bloom. Most of those fertilizer salt companies try to scam people into thinking they need to buy the entire lineup to have a good grow, honestly a base nutrient is all you really need and maybe some potassium silicate / calcium nitrate(aka calcium ammonium nitrate) / magnesium sulfate.

Yup thats why I use dry Nutes, no wasted money. The additives I use are proven to kick even more ass. Mammoth P for instance just breaks the nutes down and has beneficials, the Calmag is needed because...well its needed. Thats my whole line up.

The NPK is high because its concentrated, thats all. Its not a marketing scheme its just numbers... If it was to much for the plants per the recommended useage then the plants would be dead in a day due to the high NPK. But they are huge plants, so its already proven.

Koolbloom is a stand alone just like the rest of the maxi series. I know not to add two bloom boosters

Trust me it's a marketing scheme, you don't need that stuff at all, it's just another fertilizer salt, try doing a side by side and you will see the difference, and mammoth p doesnt break down the nutes , it's a microbe that works in unison with your roots to increase the uptake of phosphorus i use it too. They work as a symbiotic relationship, it works best in organic. And koolbloom isn't a stand alone, it's a supplement that's meant to be used to help "ripen" the buds.

Directly off General Hydro website.

KoolBloom™ is a highly concentrated nutrient supplement that promotes abundant flowering and facilitates ripening in annual flowers and herbs. KoolBloom™ is rich with phosphorus and potassium and contains precise amounts of ripening elements. KoolBloom™ is to be used only at the very end of a plant's life cycle and will help build larger, heavier fruits and flowers.

Ah youre right on it just being a booster, I misread the directions on the back thinking there was a feed schedule Implying it was a stand alone. Hey that just means my $20 will go even further lol. Its just a bud enhancer like Overdrive. Ill do a side by side at a later date for now I might as well use it when the time comes. Im only using the dry as Wet nutes are a waste of money.

Breaking down nutes was easier to type than that IMO so thats how I said it. Point is nute go into the plant easier.
