Any C02 users out there ?

I have not experienced that so far. I haven’t experienced better buds either though as some claim on here :-D
Ii am the guinea pig once again with LED’s and all the other growers i know. I was the guinea pig when the DE came out and that worked out great. So it’s all good.
So you've ran entire runs on LED? Buds aren't airy? I've been on the fence about LED since I started growing. I just could never figure out what LED lights would be strong enough to cut through the plants. I see the cheaper LED units on Amazon etc. Thought about maybe one and running a couple plants and see how it does. The thing that bugs me most is that everybody who tells me to avoid LED give the same reason, airy buds. I keep wondering if maybe these people bought a 1500 watt LED unit thinking it was really going to be equivalent to 1500 watts of HID and when it isn't they bash LED in general. I honestly feel like that's what's happening in a lot of cases.

Yes i have. In the same room with DE hps lol. If anything the buds under the DE’s should have been airy because i raised the temps in the room so the Plants under the LED’s would have it good and i could see if LED is for me.
the buds under both lights are rock hard.

i use co2 with hps, air conditionner, nft recirc

co2 from propane generator, pilot flame design. i have a electric ignition too collecting dust somewhere

i will never go back to venting, it's so inneficient and you're always dependant on outdoor conditions

i even have a small burner for veg

I've been writing HID for some reason, meant HPS. You're making me want to grab some LED units. I have to figure out what wattage is equivalent. There must be a formula of some kind to find out what LED wattage would replace 1k HPS, or even 600. Wattage from the wall, not wattage listed on the light. The listings are ridiculous sometimes. "Buy our new 50 thousand watt LED, draws 100 watts from the wall." I never understood that marketing, unless they're relying on the fact that most of us are stoned.

I had heat issues on incoming air last summer. I put an AC unit in a smaller room next to the bud room, sucks outside air into that room on one timer, then another timer that pulls that air into the bud room after it's chilled for a while. Only thing I could come up with. Otherwise it was shooting hot air right into the room. Works much better than I thought it would.

yeah its some kind of lung room in closed loop
why put the air exchange on a timer ? you will get a smoother temp curve with permanent air exchange

It just gets sucked in and right on through. If I let it sit for 15 minutes and then pump it in, the RH is okay and the temps are cooler. It's raining right now, so I am pulling air from another part of the house, my dehumidifier won't pull water fast enough to dry up 90%RH from rain in the air. I'm thinking that $350 for a burner is a small price to pay in order to get away from ventilation hassles. Just sounds like a sound investment.

totally
do you have some cooling in there ?
Yep. I have cold if I need it, but right now it's all air cooled hoods. that air comes from the room above, it's not pulled from the grow room. So anything in the grow room stays there until I exhaust it out. I don't really like making more than one change at a time, so may try the C02, then try the following run without the glass and crank some cold.

I run an 8 burner in a 20x30 sealed. I don't really notice any heat or humidity from it. It will burn for about 20-30 min when the lights come on, and then for about 3 min every hour or so, depending on where you have your limits set. 500 gallon propane tank. This is the way to go if you're sealed. Uses very little propane. I have to fill the tank once a year or more. It's connected to my home as well, so we burn propane for stove, water heater, and back up heat in the winter.

I grow in a large grow room, I run 12 - 8gallon buckets in an RDWC system, running 4k in HID. Would C02 be an option, or just a waste in a room roughly 20x20. I can just pipe in fresh air like I always do, but was wondering, if I cut the intake of fresh air and crank C02, would it be a step up, or a waste. Seems like a lot of space.
At least 2 co2 bottles for 12 indoor

Get a burner.... you're going to get tired of hauling tanks to get refilled. It's literally hands off. If you're connected to propane, or NG, it's a no brainer. Do it right the first time...... just get a Titan controller, and you're done fucking with it. I don't do anything but set my limit, and fill the tank once per year..... sometimes a year and a half depending on how hard of a winter we have. $450 a fill up...... currently anyways.

Definitly buy a burner, tanks will cost way too much for big room. Listen to bk he knows all. No shitting he does! Check his grow out. Awesome!
I have tank fans laugh @ me all the time, but I love my burner. Fuel costs me almost nothing & I don’t have to carry tanks / cylinders every week. My opinion is, if you have the cooling n RH control to handle it, buy a burner with electronic ignition. Mine is old & I wish I didn’t have a pilot, with the additional moisture n heat it creates.
