Any Canadian Growers?

I think the best solution to mold is to plant something that finishes early.
there are many mold resistant and mold proof strains out there that dont necissarily need to finish early. if they are mold proof and frost doesnt kill them, let them grow :) getawaymountain will be opening a seed bank this winter. he has bred early strains that Will Not Mold, and can stand up to our climate. i strongly suggest checking it out once he gets set up.

Two frosts in a row. Anyone still have plants out? Mine are still out but i haven't checked on them. I'm hoping they make it until next week

Where is getawaymountain out of? Is he starting a site or how are people trying his seeds?

Took mine down tonight. Found that bud rot in one area of a small bud. So wasnt taking any chances and chopped her. Trimmed 1/2 or less and will do the rest tomorrow. Berta was a good lady!!!

I still have mine in the ground. Hard frost last night so today will be telling. I've harvested about half of it due to mold. My final weight should still be about a pound off of one....not bad for early weed.
Next year, early, mold resistant plants will be planted. I will look for getawaymountains seeds.

Ya I believe he's starting an online seed bank up over the winter, he's in Maine. I'll definitely post a link here when he's up and running.

I too will go with some early finishers next year. I only do a couple outside as I don't want trouble with neighbours. I started with this one strain. Tag said 'brain'. No idea what it is. But have kept it going by cloning and it's an easy. Nice plant. I have since added new ones but it's still my favourite.

Rippers and Deer suck.... especially this close to harvest. I haven't had those problems, but mold has been/is a big issue. I've harvested a lot of early bud this year due to it. Although, instead of removing the one spot of mold, I've been harvesting the whole area. Just to avoid further spreading. I don't know if its helping because every time I look I find more. I have sprayed the plant with milk, baking soda solution and even tried H2O2 a few times. Am I the only one? I'm reaching out to those in the Atlantic region mostly, but I want to hear your mold issues this year. It's been tough on me.
It has been bad for me with mold this year to in Atlantic. I usually get some but I am trimming some off almost every day as I try and let them finish, toughest year I have had yet. More rain later this week and I am debating pulling before it comes. They are just starting the final push where they add so much weight but I may have no choice. Good luck to all that still have plants out. We will need to start a Canadian mold resistant strain list. Cheers

hey bud tips
might want to check that yellow branch for any stem rot happening. looks rather different.. could be just the way the sunlight is hitting it though.
hopefully the latter.

still got a few left in the greenhouse, but had many wounded soldiers from budrot i had to spare earlier than i'd have liked.
