Damn man, I think I would be willing to get a card to grow those. How many days did they go? If I didn't know you were a straight shooter my BS detector would be draining the batteries, LOL. How was the smoke on those?

Nice two year old GWN!

Delux, were you at with the rest of the pics? :D

I have a few beans from projects ran in Bristol Bay. Tundromatic IBL (White Russian Auto X Easy Ryder. Backed the hybrid's best pheno by its largest. That outcross was then crossed back by WRA again, and also by the original male; I have both sets of seeds from a double parent pollenation project done on the largest pheno seed host mom. "ask if your confused"), Autolope (Tundromatic male X Chocolope Female...I have never been more excited about an auto hybrid. ITS JUST DAMN HUGE), and Jack the Autoripper (Tundromatic male X JTR female), I want a card holder to do a journal for me. Ill get the bean fairy heading in your direction. PM me.

I about crapped when I got up this morning and it was snowing again. Arrrrggghh, it's almost May! WTF? I popped two Dr. Greenthumb Iranian G13's last year, made them mothers and took about 50 clones. Wound up giving them all away because we thought we were moving - and we didn't.

How's the smoke on auto flowers? They do sound appealing, especially for our climate.

Im getting the greenhouse ready, giving rare dankness somali taxi ride and ace malawi a shot. Along with the manditory grapefruit x blueberry for the wife.

Depends on what strain you go with. I've heard good and bad. From personal experience it's not been real good but I got shitty genetics. Don't believe the hype unless it's from a *very* reputable seed dealer.

I will have to do some homework on them for next year possibly. I would assume auto flowering is what people had in the mid 70's since I would always stumble across gardens in the outskirts of town in the open.

I have had good luck with the darkening curtains on a timer in the greenhouse, but it takes up a bit of space.

I *wish* I had a greenhouse - or just a place to grow a couple of plants but we don't have that here. I don't think they had autos in the 70's; I think that's a relatively new cross.

watching that AK state troopers?
No, as a former Alaska State Police officer and later on as a AST after we were renamed that show makes me absolutely sick. It is a absolute disgrace that we have a state law enforcement agency who will harass and bother the public for the sake of ratings for some garbage tv show. But it doesn't really surprise me, long gone are the days of enforcement with some common sense. Now it seems our state officials want a bunch of robo cops with a badge.

I will give credit to some of our state officials who are trying to make our drug laws a little more rational. It's about damn time. Now if they would fund treatment for today's youth in our state with heroin addiction instead of building giant prisons in the valley or useless ferrys we have no use for.

I have a question for you rak on tur! As a trooper up here did you ever find outdoor plants growing? PotPimp, I picked up a small 5 shelf 60$ greenhouse at lowes, could easily hold 6 smaller autoflowers! Im using it to start my first 20 until they get about 6 inches tall

When we made marihuana legal in the 70's I would come across quite a few when checking on moose hunters in the area that is now klatt road in anchorage. That is why I was curious about them being auto flowers. Back before we even became a state it was pretty popular in the Palmer farming district.

I did come across some in the turnagain pass area, but I just looked the other way and kept going. I figured it was just kids since only a young person would have the energy to do that hike twice a day. This was late 80's.

Oh man, you don't need a greenhouse for that; you just need a T-5, 4 bulb, 4' fixture. Even a nice high bay T-8 fixture would do you great for small plants. Rak on Tur', any "inside intel" you can give us as advice (like you did a couple of posts back) would be greatly appreciated. I'm very proud to live in a state where the government doesn't have it's head up the federal ass but thinks for it's own self (more or less). It will be a great day when they ditch chasing potheads and growers and put those resources to use keeping real drugs off the streets.

Law enforcement has changed a great deal since my retirement. I stayed on until the early 2000's but that was doing work for the human trafficking problem the plagues our state. I do know MEA does flag high power usage, and when conducting a pot "bust" a MEA representative would take part. MLP and Chugach on the other hand were quite stubborn about customers records, as they should be since that is a privacy issue. No trespassing signs is another no brainer in my opinion.Out in my area I watched a neighbors place get raided, they found a koi pond. I doubt that misshap made reality tv. A giant waste of time, especially considering they had to drive by meth labs ran by biker garbage to get to that persons driveway. The only thing I learned from years of so called drug enforcement was nine out of ten of the people who got busted for growing were regular people, just making a extra bit of income. I never saw a single thing wrong with that, I still don't. We got it right in the 70's, it's a shame our state officials caved to scare tactics and voter ignorance. Thankfully we still have some good judges in our state like Sedwick.
