Any way to add mesh?

One of those two setups.
You may not have room to put the sink line on top of the tee. You might have to buy a 90 adapter for the top of the T or another line and put the T in the middle.
That stuff is usually 3/8" but not always. See if you can find a label on anything down there. If you cant, I'd shut the water off and take the line out and take it to a local hardware store.

Zoomed in and found the part number on your picture for that sink line.
It is 3/8 x 1/2. The 1/2" part is what's connected to the faucet.

So my valve should be 3/8– whatever garden hose attachment size generally is?

When i went t get the Valve they had 3/8 but with different inlet sizes . that inlet size should be the garden hose attachment size preferably?

Yeah if you can find a valve that's 3/8x garden hose thatd work. Idk the thread for garden hose. You may need an adapter like I put in the diagram.

i get either get an adapter or make sure the arden hose thread is that size.

Appears most of the 50 ft garden hoses have a 1inch.

So get a 3/8 to 1 inch adapter also
