Shouldn't he be okay though? Isn't the point of vaccines to simulate the infection without the gnarly symptoms, but he already made it through the high-risk part of catching Covid without dying, so he should be g2g..?

Their...you're...but he brought up a good point about the long haulers. I don't know that you can long haul being asymptomatic, but you can be asymptomatic and then develop long haul symptoms. Still, I think if you got sick and fully recovered with no ongoing symptoms, then you should be all set..?

I feel like the individual mandate might make that difficult. As it is now, there are no physical requirements to join, afaik. And there are only requirements if you want to do something specific, like go to public school, which a person can still choose to home school without immunization, so they have an "out", again afaik. It's a bit of a catch22 to start adding physical requirements in order to have an insurance that you're required to have. Plus, isn't retardation a valid medical reason?

The Delta version is suppose to be better at evading the body's defenses. It may recognize the other lesser variants but may not get the defenses up in time for the Delta. Also he is not 100% yet. It is cheap insurance taking the shot.

Oh, was that someone else's hand on me? That is the trouble when you are stoned, you are never really sure unless you look. I see our little group here more as saving each other time, it takes a lot of time for one person to sift through all the noise to find out what is real and what is not. Each of us has their own strengths, areas they mine for information. We do not need five people reading the same article on CNN (No really, sometimes they have a good article). You have not been too self-righteous so you are only getting a light knucklerubbing. If you feel like you have information to add come on back. But keep in mind, we have mined this area for a while and it might be hard to convince us otherwise..

I got vaccinated with JJ in April, the first day I was eligible. I was shocked when I called the hotline and got an appointment that day. Fantastic! The next morning news breaks about the clotting issue, people are freaking out about skipping the JJ. Fan-fucking-tastic...

Then I heard the stats at about 1 issue per 1.1 million people and I was fine.

Yes, ill get any booster necessary.

The delta is a new game. Many who had the wild (original) version of covid are catching delta, and some are dying from it.
