I wouldn't say "pushy" about led, just growing with the times. I'm sure, in another decade, everyone will be bagging on LEDs the same way we bag on blurples now. We learn, adapt, improve, repeat. And my electric bill says use the highest efficiency you can afford.

I took shit and had to get mean about it so yes there is pushy and pressure to conform.

The bottom line is the grower knows what works best for their garden.

I'm sorry you were treated thusly, it seems even with the adaptability of cannabis (c'mon people this plant grew itself in the Himalayas, Siberia, and the Australian outback WITHOUT human intervention) someone has to make themselves feel better by belittling another's efforts. You're right, every grower finds what will work best, or at least adequately, for their grow. Most are just trying to find something that works, and if you find that in older tech... great! It'll be cheaper generally. I almost bought a whole 1000w hps/mh hood and ballast (it was at the "Restore"!). Probably should have, it was only 20.00.

In the future I see, there won't be enough farmable land to support this over populated rock. Only resolution I see, aside from population control, is vertically stacked farms using almost exclusively artificial light.

If only I could grow and harvest the buds outside without having the two day before harvest surprise of it already being harvested by persons unknown.

That is worse than bugs. The sun is wildly inefficient at making light. The tech is so old.

Because 315 footprint isn't 2x4 in a hood.
It's 3x3 , dual hood (if you can get them) would give a better spread over 4x4 .

Thanks I hadn't even checked the footprint yet I can't set anything up until May so was just my first thoughts but I'll definitely look into the dual hub what if I used the 2 singles and also put an led in the middle
