From what I can gather from the majority of the posts, most people in their 20's cannot afford a house in our country's current state.
What I have noticed is a lot of people are renting houses or part of the house in their 20s. It got me thinking, so then who owns these houses?
Well I went to one of my friends moms houses and she told me straight up that she owns multiple houses on the street. Rents the upstairs and the basement to two separate couples and they pay the mortgage for her and a little extra cash on top.
Now I started to think that is great idea for her at her age and for retirement, but then again it keeps house sale prices high so us 20s cant afford a home to begin with.
I dont know, I guess I just feel like our generation is going to be very unprepared for retirement.
I'm 21, left England and moved to Thailand 3 years ago. Now I have a house wife and daughter a car and work online.

i'm 25 and working toward a house...i want a cheap, $60,000 house....got a third of that in the bank, but haven't worked (by CHOICE) in the last 2 months
I worked on a drilling rig in the oilfield and am relocating in 2 weeks to another part of the country to do the same kinda work
You actually paid that?
did it break off your face because thats unbelievably steep...
ill pay for my house in cash when i get there. i refuse to support banks (currency is fraud...banks are COMPLETE fraud and i will not support by getting a loan)
that tierd rating is bitch huh?
