Anyone use Hortmans.com for clones/cuts/seeds?

read many post. Was on the fence about them. Have two grow facilities in OKC & with the way the market is could definitely use some of their genetics. Was back & forth with customer service and finally placed an order two days ago for about $2600 in genetics (hopefully people who wrote they are legit are legit themselves, fingers crossed). They had 65% off so figured best time to pull trigger. Only thing is they do weird payment (cash app, bitcoin, etc etc). To their defense CASHAPP didn’t go through first time and he/she said they would send request and IF it didn’t work they would try another method, so it appears they were willing to do debit card or PayPal (my preferred methods)…todays Sunday (01/02/22) and I wrote to confirm IF they received payment AND tracking info. No response yet but it is Sunday after New Years. Will keep you guys posted. When I receive them I plan on doing genetic testing to confirm validity of genetics so I will keep you all posted w results as well. Hopefully I get them before I cross that bridge!

Hortmans ( formerly HM ) is Legit as a seller , they will fulfill your order so no worries. I have ordered from them acouple times now during their sales and seems to me that they are a middleman and have a connect with a clone seller.
From now on, I am going to try to only order cuts from the person taking them/ the gardener who has run them full cycle and has pics of what they are selling you.

Most people testing a site for legitimacy wouldn't drop more than a couple bills and generally wouldn't quote an actual amount when posting about it. The fact that you came in here flashing dollar signs for money spent on seeds/cuts that may or may not be legit--and still have only posted in this thread--says that you're either a sock, a stooge, or a chad....or some combination of the above.

sorry you feel that way brother. Honestly not cool to call anyone a “sock, stooge, or a chad” w out knowing them and just basing your opinion on one post on the internet. But no beef, everyone is entitled to their opinion and only wish good vibes on other for 2022 But In no way am I flashing dollar signs, if you read the previous post you will see I wrote I have two commercial facilities. Additionally I put the retail price was $7000. W their it went down to $2600. Not bad for these premium genetics when you split it between two facilities. If you have your ear to the marijuana market you will know that the market is EXTREMELY competitive now and whether black, grey, or legit market you better come thru w fire right now. If it’s mediocre you will sit on the product. Unfortunately I speak from experience! (Not a good thing)…..regardless much blessings your way!

hortmans actually wrote back….said they would ship TWO genetics this week but had to wait for the other ones to be cloned. Which is not cool to charge someone for something and not disclaim that….

I hope they turn out really nice for you man.. next time holler at kaka or hire someone to fly/drive to Cali and bring you back a couple trays or something lol

they finally responded today. Told me the regular cuts (Tropicana cherries and apple fritters) would be sent out this week w a tracking #.
However, the premium cuts “would be cloned now and then sent”….so would have to wait to root. Kind of sucks they don’t disclaim that BEFORE you pay BUT it could be like you said, they middle man it & really have to source it somewhere, etc etc. Nevertheless, still haven’t gotten ONE thing yet LOL so will keep you all posted if something comes thru and most importantly the premium ones. Who’s KAKA? Does he have a site or on RIU… could def use him if he’s legit and referred. obviously I’ll be looking for more legit genetics in the future and going to some random on the internet was VERY risky & don’t want to keep going down that route, will get burned sooner or later….& as far as Cali don’t have many plugs out there.

its actually not uncommon for people to google search route to RIU as we often rank top position join our forum, that is the intended purpose of forums,
stop raging on legit new members, there is a clear difference between a spam account and someone joining because a google search routed them and they wanted to participate
Besides you have no way to know if they are spam accounts, you dont hold admin controls, sitting here raging the fuck out on people is just one way to get your account banned

The hostility towards genuine new members is uneeded you dont need to act like this

Besides that even if they are spammers, let us handle it rather than 6 pages of screaming at people , you say it spammers make more work for riu but sitting here arguing and screaming at people makes more work

i cashapped on sat. Monday was told it was received but only 2 clones would be sent out of the 6. Yesterday I emailed them “to tell them they told me this week, but no tracking yet.” I emailed him/her a second time & they responded around 10:30 PM telling me they would check today to see if it’s being sent out. So another user (if you read the thread) said they are slow and it appears they middle man it and that slows the progress. Who knows. I just think it’s really shitty for 1) to tell customer it’ll be shipped out by a certain point and not follow through (there’s still a slight chance they ship it out today but doubtful) 2) sell clones and not disclaim they are NOT ready. They should disclaim on the clone itself it might take up to 14 days to ship out, I’ve seen other sites do that. At this point by next week if at least the 2 aren’t shipped then these guys aren’t legit. Like I stated, there’s been a couple of users who say they have been okay (with seeds and their former company called HM clones) BUT then I get wary because other well known members state they could be spammers since all members who vouched for them are new. Pfft, I was even accused of being one! Lol, I’m like wtf, never did I say to use them and I’m still complaining about not getting a tracking #…..but your order & mine are same date so as long as your non a spammer (lol) then we can keep an eye out for one another….good luck man

The status of the order is "canceled" and they sent me an email with the question: "give me the BTC address, we will refund the money", everything drags on for weeks! it's just horror for the buyer!

UPDATE:
So today I got a tracking…however, at first I was told tropical cherry was READY but waiting on an apple fritter. NOW today when I got the tracking they said APPLE FRITTER was sent BUT that the trop Cherry won’t be ready till next week. Wtf…nevertheless, they stated they included a freebie with the order. I’ll keep you posted as what I receive and if I receive. Communication is okay with company but they appear a bit disorganized (once again feel like you are dealing with the intermediary)….

I got my BTC back! not without loss! losses amounted to about $ 50, which is better than it could be!
