Best looking (Green is what the plant should look like) Best Dank FAT 2ft long Colas is with MH veg, HPS flower hands down… good Mh or HPS bulbs should go 6,000hrs producing maximum production output before you need to change.
LED is not 50% more efficient at all…
A solid LED light uses the exact same wattage from wall as HID. Ballast puts outs high heat as well. Can’t make a watt without heat.
charts and graphs are nice, but real world results from the plants are more important.
Hid going to stay with good growers, SE and DE.
Seen so many LED diodes , go bad it’s not even funny.. many are on their 6th or 7th brand of LED lights.
Same Hid lights from 15 years ago can still be used and very Efficient. So where is the cost savings and efficiency then with LED?
regardless, which light you use if you don’t have a full canopy ( 5ft x 5ft or 4ft x 4ft) 2 to 3 feet deep you’re just wasting your time and money. It’s not the light it’s Grower to blame.
