Are my Plants Flowering on Normal Time Schedual?

Hey guys, whats up?
I am growin Thai x Skunk from AMS
I am using 5 gal DWC buckets and GH Flora series nutes.
I have two 400 watt HPS lights.
Everything has been good, I have not had any problems. PH and PPM is monitered and temps stay around 68 - 75 F
I am in the 5th week of flowering. The bud sites have a lot of the white pistols but I cant see any sign of actual bud growth yet. Is this about normal?

They do look kinda small for their age, but then again I don't know much about that strain.

did you count flowering form when you switched to 12/12 or when they actually started budding?

I counted from when i switched the lights to 12/12
also the plants are not small, one is 5ft tall and the other two are 4ft tall

they look a little small but that don't mean shit. in the last 2 weeks they will fatten up big time. wat 2 go. plants look great

yea almost looks like you may be getting popcorn bud.. and about the loads of pistols i had the same problem but it started to fill in around week 7

Then in that case you've been flowering for 3-3.5 weeks.

Make sure there is no light leaking in during the dark period, and start using blooming nutes if you're not already.

I think they are fine i dont start counting flower weeks untill i have alot of the plants covered in white hair! Bud meat will form in a week or two!

Popcorn is a term used to describe the lil buds on the bottom of the plant that dont get enough light so end up the size of popcorn

asking a basic question: is it impossible for plants to flower if days are longer than nights? I believe so but dont wanna get buds before me and them are both ready.

It is possible some plants flower in 24 hour light but most strains prefer 12/12 to flower without herming..

ok thats what I thought U guys were talking about. You know whats really funny about that is I should be getting the xact opposite of popcorn because I got
allmost too much light. I have had a lot of heat problems because the plants are growin so damn tall that they keep hittin the lights.
I dont know if you can see it in the pics but I had to use LST training and bend the plants in half because they are so big.
I guess it all worked out tho because the light is hitting all the branches now and all the branches that are on the half that bent over are all faceing up towards the light and hopefully forming a bunch of cola's

Actually you can put your lights on a
13hr ON and 11hr OFF schedual
and the plants will produce a larger yeild from getting the extra light but it will take longer than normal for the plants to completly mature and be ready for harvest
You can also put the plants on a
11hr ON and 13hr OFF schedual
and the plants will mature and be ready for harvest much faster than normal but the yeild will be smaller
