What media are you growing in?
Basically put; What ever "run-off" metering you take.
YOU'R ONLY GETTING THE READING OF THE RUN OFF!
Not the soil or media as for pH!
You should also note that; EC of the run - off IS different then the EC of the liquid before being put in!
pH your ingoing FEEDING MIX to 5.8 or 5.9 and run it through.
The pH of the media will swing one way and then slowly swing back again as it dries out. This is a natural "swing" that helps the proper uptake of the nutrients at their best pH availability points.....
Consider your doing HYDROPONIC style with that media. Be sure you use a Cal/Mg to counter the Coco... I suggest a calcium carbonate based product. Avoid Calcium nitrate based, as it will add N and not be as good at controlling pH..
Good luck.
I’m growing in 70/30 coco / perlite
I used CloneX and RapidStart for seedling
I transplanted last night from a solo cup to my 5.5 gallon air pots
For this feeding I used
5 ml humboldts base a
5 ml humboldts base b
1 ml humboldts golden tree
1 teaspoon myco+
5 ml cal-mag (mixed first)
/per gallon
Then adjusted ph to 5.8 after mixing all my nutrients
I also posted pictures of my meter readings
First 5 was after mixing
2nd set of 5 pictures was run off water after feeding
