Is apomixis different to cannabis fertilizing itself, it read that way when i put it to google?

Yes, no balls or nanners, plus it omits meiosis and assembles the genetics of the seed using only the mother chromosome.
Hence, the seed genes will be identical to the mother plant.

Very much a noob so please go easy on me. Outdoor Auto Blue Dream. Manicured to remove some fan leaves, some yellowed and fell off themselves. Very light on the nutes. Still learning. Seeing some amber trichs but the underbuds don’t look ready to me yet.

i notice majority of the amber trichs are on sugar leaves. They mature faster on the leaves I'd imagine then? Leafs are like 50 percent amber buds like 5....10%

Yup, That's why you should check only the calyxes, some combinations of strain/environment can make sugar leaves amber up just 2-3 weeks into flower.

I think he is still about. Some members here know him on a personal level.
I do not.
Would be sad if he has passed, another old guard down
